of course, just for the sake of smack talk it could be because i have a pretty thorough background in UT2004. Apparently that means skills, coz I just walked into the server and if I’m not mistaken I’m already up in the top 30 rankwise. but as I was saying, all it takes is turning a corner and firing at the first thing that twitches. really. even spraying these bots instead of short bursts is pretty effective. Just they respond well if you give them time. so my vote: their intelligence is good ’nuff for me
6: The biggest one is that the bot AI -has- to go down a notch. I realize that the bots could lack challenge for high-ability players, but to everyone I speak with they’re just extremely frustrating. On their current settings they wallhack repeatedly, and do all sorts of other nasty things. Additionally, it’s pretty gimp for the CTs as the bots have to be micromanaged while you’re being hunted.
This may be a bit to early for me to be commenting, but i’ve only been playing cs:s for around a week and I still don’t find them too overly good. They can shoot long range like none other, but other than that i’d say they’re a reasonable level…
i got in the server for my first time for a while, but was getting outright trashed in it… my noob status really showed, so i went back to cs:s to practice a little more
all three minutes of Kimmel when he does his unnecessary censorship bit, plus I’m a news junkie, so the local news and world news tonight. other than that mostly just whenever there’s college football on it
if I could be granted the honor, any chance you could forward some kind of copy of the source code that focuses on the user class definitions and basic user stuff? There is the possibility I could find a loophole or update the source in some way
just for the sake of commenting, I had the same issue. I even tried substituting the html code equivalent, <ampersand><pound>146<semicolon>

okay I will definitely look into that. I’ve just been using the ip address from the website and putting that in my favorites list. actually, i’ll at least give it a quick check later tonight while I’m still here.
alright, just got back around to reading this… I was basically locked in the lobby and the library the last few days doing homework… so if you are in today, i’ll be in around maybe 9-10… then tomorrow I only have some homework, so I can get that out of the way, and I’ll be on after the meeting, where everyone else should be as well… I’ll drop in on irc tomorrow and get the word out, but tonight I’m prolly just gonna be killin time on the server 9-10… anyone wanting to join, I’m thinking of kickin it into ons-torlan, then going from there
And NoDice, by the way, if I don’t have the brackets for UT2K4 up here by around 1:30 Friday afternoon, I will have them with me when I walk in the door, whenever that is…
