When I was in this one map, i think de_dust2, I saw one kid no scope someone across the map from A to B, how do you do it?

why didn’t he just scope? bc he had time to scope…

edit: i heard you use your pistol to do it?

take a piece of tape and place a dot on it in the middle, scope in using any sniper, place the taped dot on your screen = 24/7 scope and a ruened screen. also hack help a little also.

Just use a tiny dot of scotch tape like dice said. This is great for SK but really the center never changes so you really don’t need a dot there.

It’s called quick scoping. It takes a while to get it down, so I’d suggest going into a DM and practicing it.

Basically what I do is when I see someone is I hit mouse2 (zoom in) and then mouse1 pretty much a a millisecond after and your awp shot shoots in a straight line as if it were scoped. Learning where the shot will go without a scope can be tricky, but after some practice you’ll be good at it.

Actually no scoping is really random. I find for it to work I have to take a shot and either hit/miss someone and then just fire and it usually works. On dust2, I play mid and when they rush b I usually zoom in and get 1 or 2 people rushing b. I might not have the time to zoom in so I just shoot (without quick scoping) and I kill people. I’m not sure why it works, but it seems to work for me.

snikka, no scoping takes a lot of time to learn. its 90% skill + 10% luck. after you cs for awhile, you will develop a feel for where to aim without scoping. you should practice with the scout first instead of the awp. and practice on a map like scoutzknivez. no scoping is usually used for short-medium distances. for long distance, its definitely smarter to scope.

    Agreed.

Noscoping is also very helpful with the autosniper as you can rush with it similar to normal rifles.

along with the placing a dot in the middle, after a while of playing cs and snipin you kinda remember where the middle is. also what happens is if someone is gonna camp they’ll get in their spot, scope to where people will be, and then just take off the scope, as long as you don’t move you know where you are shooting. this works well because the hit box gets smaller the more you scope from my experiance. like with doluble scope you gotta really hit the person, with one scope you can be a bit off. and no scope is just like when you shoot a reg gun. it can be off but you’ll hit if its close enough

did not think you could get any more noob that to buy an autosniper,.,, now you proved my wrong.

do you srly run and noscope shooting an auto? :haha:

Dustin put a tape-dot in the middle of his big-screen tv to help him no scope in Rainbow Six 2. When he was watching the news, it looked like the anchor was about to be shot.

You can alt tab back to CS and your mouse cursor will be in the middle of your crosshair. Works really well. Goes away when you check scores or die.

    just a quick question..

is it true that even though when you quick scope (right/left click almost simultaneously), and you see the bullet go elsewhere but the center of the screen.. its actually hitting the center of the screen? .. its hard to describe =/ .. lets say you’re quick scoping a blank wall.. the dot the bullet makes is suppose to be the center of the screen right? .. sometimes it doesnt go there.. ive asked people and they’ve told me that even though the bullet doesn’t hit the center.. it registers there or something like that.. shrug.. help? lol.. if it doesn’t, then why does the *edited* bullet hit the center only half the time even when I’m standing still?

and if you fire a shot and hold down the button, your next no scope shot should be accurate right?

    thanks =]

idk abut the first part but i you take a shot an then take another shot right away it will not hit the same spot. you gotta wait a second. remember the first shot ade the gun go back cause of recoil. you gtta wait for the gun to go back in position, like when the scope comes back or a second later.

and wenever you quick scope sometimes you jerk the mouse by accident so you wont hit the center

A dot is funny watching…I won’t ever use them just learned to shoot by remembering where the crosshairs would be ( right dab in the middle of the screen). and shoot. It’s simple and with enough pratice you’ll be getting noscope hs’s all the time on scoutz for example.

I’ve noticed that when I quick scope someone I usually see the bullet end up hitting somewhere far over their left shoulder for example. But that only happens sometimes.

Practicing no scopes with a scout is stupid. No scoping with the scout is really, really easy. Quick scoping with the scout is pretty much the same as well.

If you want to get good with the awp, join a deathmatch server, take out an awp and start blasting people. I got really good at quick scoping in like 2 days..

I agree. No scoping with the scout is easier than doing it with an awp. It might help telling where the middle of the screen is, but when you no scope with the awp, it’s not the same.

No scoping with the awp is not very smart at distances. Even know I am not the best awper in the game I relize how unreliable the awp is in no scope. Quickscoping is another story I recently started practicing and it is fairly easy once you get the hang of it.

welp…the kid u saw was prolly me. no scoping u are thinking of is actually quickscoping because u DO scope…sometimes if u do it just right u dont see any of the scope and it is still accurate. Click fire and scope at the same time and voila. quickscoping. you just gotta know where the middle of your screen is…takes practice. chhhyeah
