I already have it, but someone was just asking me about it and I said it’s on sale today. I checked the price and it’s $19.99.Sooo, yesterday, herbal told me that people were flashing like crazy on the server during awp_dust (and then I think Major joined, but herbal didn’t say if he did anything, he was just ranting about someone). Are we going to update the map or whatever so that you can’t buy anything except a pistol?

True, but I could take a screenshot of the actual person’s steamid and then have someone change their name to his and make a false demo later on. I’m sure there are ways of verifying whether the screenshot is real and whatnot, but who’s going to go through the trouble every time a non-admin posts a screenshot and demo?
I can’t think of anyone who plays in our servers who’ll want to frame someone else, but I don’t think this rule was created just because. I dunno, the way MasterP responded sounded like it’s here because of something that’s happened in the past.
I think it’d be helpful if other people got demos to help out the admins, but at the same time, if this rule was put into effect because of something that occurred before, we’re avoiding repeating that situation.

You couldn’t get an admin? I recall there being a rule that we can’t accept demos from non-admins. It doesn’t mean we can’t watch out for him, but I don’t think we can ban using a demo you recorded.

There was a time when oilrig was pretty successful. I can’t recall if it was here or on appstate. It depends on where in the rotation you put it. You can’t throw it in near maps like vertigo or prodigy.

I think awp_dust needs to be shortened to 15 minutes. We discussed it in one of the threads about buying on awp_dust.
