Ok ppl are talking about polls and demographics with games and so on and so forth. By voting at the meetings on these games isnt that taking a poll of a group with different tastes in games. Isnt that showing the demographic for the campus.
First off using the whole we dont have enough copies *edited*, dont give that when I brought up soul caliber and if we had enough copies the only response I got was well its 2 ppl per tv so it shouldnt take long. Last time i checked Wii bowling and mario kart had 4 ppl at a time.
Second I left that meeting early bc I was upset at some of the stuff said about making a console club or making the computer gamers go to another room, and dont even try to play it off as some joke because the manner in which it was said was dead serious. Yeah I get upset with how we get shafted on space and power bc of them I mean hell we are a growing section and we need more room, you dont need a whole table for a laptop, people inthe console area are sitting on top each other during tournaments.
Mainly why mario kart and bowling where taken out is because they are majority voted on by PC gamers, where that is not a bad thing, but when you turn comes up please be ready to take it. Its been on more than one occasion that tournaments have been held up by the person not being there. Also on the other hand we had a discussion about players not being ready for their turn in Halo 3, Cod4, ect. Did we wanna blame this on the PC players to or just admit that it doesnt matter if they are PC or Console, either way ppl arent always going to be ready for their turn. Having more control over the mic was a good idea but i remember in previous lans we had all the access we wanted short of having it right there in the Console area.
Hell maybe I have no right posting anything about the console section, i mean *edited* i barley touch my xbox so i guess im not hardcore. Im a CASUAL player. OMG i used teh C-word. So for me Halo, Gears, CoD4 i will be playing as a casual player and they are a casual tournament just like Bowling and Mario Kart which i enjoy just as much.
I personally dont even remember discussing anything about settings for mario kart, but then again i was at the other half of the table for most the meeting and couldnt hear as is, as for dropping games though it should have been 1 of the 3 first person shooters like gears, but hell the decission was going to be made regaurdless.

I have 4 70s and been playing retail for about 3yrs. Id be willing to play a private server if i could be a gm or something
I like this one but i like the one for Burning Crusade better bc it gave me chill and was still funny watching a tauren get polymorphed into a sheep.
Then not make it a raffle, make it a 1 dollar charitable donation a hat and we will put their name in a hat or something.
A lan at the beginning of the year would be a great lauch, posibly bring some new faces especially incoming freshman into the gaming club.
As for the whole ppl now hearing thing I think that was just an issue of them being to involved in the games they were playing to even bother to listen to an announcement.
So yeah i just really got here this year and i heard that you use to be able to lan xbox to anywhere on campus. what was the reason for changing it to by floor/hallway

Keep up the great work everyone, and great job to Shae and Cacophony for running the consoles their first time as exec’s you did a spectacular job.
From what we were running at the last lan over near the Xbox area is, 4 32ish inch tv’s and 2 UC style tv’s, along with 6 xboxs
over near the PS3 were 5 ps3’s, 1 24 inch monitor and a few 13 inch tvs.
Thats what was running when the power went out.
Also with falcon leaving us
