was that the original? I have been to every other one; Looks like it was in Forsyth. If the first LAN wasn’t in Forsyth then I am there somewhere in the far back I remember where I was sitting; might also be the lan where my profile picture was taken? (click on my name and check out my profile and lmk)

THE SECOND LAN?
I have a book and photos with all the fliers from the lans we had. I would be happy to bring them to the lan event if you want. Lots of history for something alot of people said wouldn’t work!

totally off topic but looking at nickname’s gif file avatar the guy on the right reaches in with his right arm and slap with his left o.O

Wrong it would display a mirror image on the monitor the other guy is looking at meaning the left arm is correct.
I remember both as I took both pictures and all pictures that we have before the Forsyth LAN (3 LANS at Belk 358), I also took most of the pictures we have from the Forsyth LAN and the Multipurpose room A & B. Good times, great after-parties before everyone started going to them. I liked the parties better when we used them for executive bonding time instead of everyone getting drunk and puking…not as much fun.

I think its funny that we had to cram so many ppl into such small rooms. And *edited* those rooms got HOT!!! lol
personally i loved havening a tons on ppl in the tiny room, just enough room so you can still walk around and youse your mouse w/o bumping the guy next to you. Just felt like the community vibe was 10,000 times stronger that the huge *edited* grand rooom. I alsways fill like i might as wel be in my room everyone fills just as far away. eather way good times indeed good times.
NoDice I know exactly what you mean. I loved being able to stand up in the middle of the round and point the guy out that I killed and say “YOU GOT PWNED!”

and seeing their reaction to a rando shot is priceless, It really does make the lans 8.37 times better.
Well I can’t argue with the whole room lighting up at some BS shot that kills 2-3 ppl; always a classic
i’m gonna try to get a new comp in august so i can come to the lan in the fall.. i wanna meet all u *edited*ers..

I remeber this well….was this the UT2k4 tourn. where we all got raped or one of the other ones…i cant see
it makes us more of a unified posse..gets us out of our room and we go from being just online gaming buddies to homies in real life..THATS WHATS UP! Loot.
Dice, Do you remember going around the room and having everyone tell their handle and name. I remember one time I even asked for a few people’s major. I also called out the people that we had banned or are currently suspended. Nobody ever complained about the hour that was taken out for that time.
i rember how mouch in the pain in the *edited* it was to install all the games in the labs behind deepfreeze,, and then during the tournament all of a suddent every pc in the lab desided to restart itself and hr’s of our work was lost… rember that… wasent that fun.
