If we can find a russka that’ll hold on the server i’m down for it. But we’ve never had one with enough spawn points (that was b4 we upped it to 25), and I think that was the map we had server issues with people not being able to dl or something. There was another issue besides spawn points. Anywho good rotation I think, I’d like to see tides in there I agree with elly, It’s a fun fast paced small map.
D2, My only problem with d2 in the rotation 3 times, is that everytime the server goes down and or resets, almost like once a day, it throws back to d2. So it comes up a lot more often than that 3 times in the rotation. I like that we had it twice, I think its a pretty good #.
I think the third group and the first group could switch a custom map for a reg map to break it up for people that aren’t into all the customs.
*idea, with the three d2’s, what if our rtv let’s u vote for one of the three groups? so you’ll always start on d2 to boost the server, and then play the maps after? put that in your pipe and smoke it? Cause a lot of times when I find people rtv it’s to boost server.
I’m kind of torn on this, I agree with bitey for the most part. Everyone knew he was going to make changes, and quickly. He stated this many times so no one should be surprised. Clinton made some changes quick, some panned out, others did not. I think this might need to be something to ride out. I hate the redrawing of districts, and I agree it is necessary every so often, but I think it should deal more with the flux of people in an area, then just every so many years. Some areas grow and decline at such a rapid rate that it’s tough to keep up with. At the same time it’s such a mundane job and done so terribly that you can’t really ask for more.
I can’t agree more with P that it should stay completely seperate from politics, it might be one of the few things not tainted by politics thus far. I’m not sure about unconstitutional, it’s not my place to rule on something like that and I don’t know the laws well enough to call that. But I do think there is some out of norm activity and for whatever reason we’ll find out soon I think.
It’s tough because I don’t think a lot of people are going to be affected by this. Yes the growing areas which will be restructured are going to feel the change. But if your not growing your district just gets bigger to accomodate the # of people needed/portioned. North Carolina is definitely one of the states that will be changed, but as per my Pennsylvania, not so much. Philly gets worked around everytime they restructure regardless, but philly is a mess anyway.
You should visit charlotte, enough plastic there to please Dell. And there sure are the load of southern bells as well. But yeah ask around and see how they did. I talked to a friend of mine from philly that went to nationals and said that the WCU team actually was pretty good.
liam i’m not being a prick, i’m trying to play a map made by a wcu student. I’m voicing my opinion and getting *edited* for it by you. It’s a forum why can’t I speak my mind. I didn’t badmouth anyone, and I don’t appreciate being called a prick. I sensed sarcasm and mentioned it. I said nothing mean, and don’t think I deserve you to flame on me. I’m not whining, i’m posting. And why am I being threatened with ban from the server?
i agree and i love the votes, what i’m saying and everyone that’s played here awhile will agree, the draw to this server is the core set of standard maps… we even tried another server with just customs and it lasted like 2 weeks. Until brian came along and threw some things in there we no custom maps.
And why can’t i put my input in on the thread titled, current map rotation, public discussion. I think that’s actually where my input would belong on the matter? If not let me know and i’ll post in the right thread.

one of the main draws of this server, is and always has been the classic maps in the rotation. The rotation has always been mainly a combo of classic maps. That’s why I started playing here and continue to, I know it will always have some good fair maps and some good competition. So why would you change it to something “new and fresh”?
yeah i’m gonna agree with ex on that one. And it seems to be strata everytime. I don’t know whether it’s by that point I need a break or what, but I always leave at strata, and see lots of others do the same. I could do without fire, it’s very dark and is hard for me being colorblind. I demand it be taken off or I’ll report the server and college to the AAPD. But other than that, I think it’s fairly good, I can prob play for an hour or two at a go. Not as good as the old rotation, but you’ll have that with the new custom maps. And keep prodigy, it’s a great old map and the vents are so much fun. Flash down the vent, jump down, start spraying into a mass of T’s rushing long hall, soooooo much fun.
well he’s right… I actually had to time machine my way back here… Though i’ll tell you one thing, florence nightengale is one fine piece of *edited*…. 1838, a fresh 18 year old flo (that’s what we called her), mmmm mmmm, doesn’t get much prettier. And god who doesn’t love corsets, skinny waists and boobs pushed up to the necks. Man i shoulda stayed in the 19th century.
we had this discussion like 2 years ago, and it was the same arguments, and someone posted the same link. The general concensus was that as soon as it was bugfree and running it would be added to the server to showcase the talent at WCU and whatnot. I think it’s a great thing. Everyone agreed on the name change to cs_Tower to avoid any confusion and stuff with the school. And I think people would love to play it, and it’d be something special to our server. As well as the many wcu’ites that play on the server, they’d get a real kick out of it. So before you just say, nope it’ll never be in rotation, I think you should at least check out what people want. I think it’s a great idea, and if the 3 floor ideas are still there, I’ve only gotten to look at the layouts, I think it seems like a pretty *edited* cool map. Give nix his due, he worked on it for quite some time. And someone dig up the old threads on this. I think it was called cs_wcu.

So anyway, in response to ephraim and others…
Harvey Dent was the individual we were left to believe died. Though it is known that in the next movie two-face is the villain. JUMP TO END OF MOVIE – Batman says about remembering dent and turns his face over to the good side… after the credits, it comes back to dent and his face turns back to the bad side, a sign of what’s to come… Anywho, I love how they did two-face, in the comics and other renderings he’s always been a gruesomely disfigured man, while in movies and animateds he’s always shown with paint or such to keep him having human qualities. I love that they went hardcore on this and showed it so plainly brutal as it is meant to be. I completely agree with ephraim, heath ledger made this movie, and it surpassed all of the others. But some *edited* good acting gave this movie a lot of depth. AND WHO HATED THE UGLY FAT *edited* THAT WASN’T KATIE FREAKIN’ HOLMES!!!!!
