hahaha that was great, and extremely well-written, congrats to those english teaches in kansas, and i thought everyone that didn’t leave near a coast was stupid and just loved corn way to much…?
i think if we can add an aim map and be able to have a vote for it only, i think it’d be bad for our server rotation, but when there are 4-10 people in the server it’d be bangin to get people in and just practice… i’ve always been a fan of aim_ak_colt, but there are some other really good ones.
Yeah I def. think the admins need to have power to rtv at least if we’re not going to have it in general. Somehow there needs to be a way to skip maps for 8-10 people…

the respawn timer is a tough issue, the more experienced the player, the shorter respawn they like it seems. I have a group I play with on their server (i’ve been hitting ours up also), and the stalemates only occur when people just spam the wrong classes against 2 turrets and heavies/pyros or whatnot. You have to be able to change classes and get teamwork going to break a stalemate. Look at your team and check what you have and don’t have. A short respawn timer is the best way to break a stalemate with decent players. The toughest thing right now is the updates. Since everyone is going pyro for achievements, spies are *edited* near extinct, and they’re very key in breaking up defenses and taking snipers. So it just depends on the people playing. 7-8 is good i’d say. I like a little shorter but it’s good. Also any new people, direct them to my info thread on the classes, it’s a little outdated with the new updates for the extra achievements, and it’s a bit of a long read. But it covers the basics for a newbie and is pretty helpful i’ve been told.
besides pts that’s all i’ve seen, the admin menu is a lil diff… but i’m guessing that is on purpose… swapteam is really useful when teambalancer is down, possibly it should be on first page again instead of next page and then 6… but that’s all i’ve seen. Oh and the anti-cheat doesn’t catch chantz… *edited*in haxor

when tf2 first came out i’d played beta for a few weeks before anyone else played with a group of guys non-stop, and I put a bunch of tips up for playing and things to make a server popped. But one of the main things was the respawn timer, a quick respawn timer is the key to poeple getting back in there and staying in the game, when people wait they get frustrated and they quit. This was months ago i posted this, like october, but yeah, def. change respawn timer. I have a group of buddies that put up a server a week and a half ago, and it’s almost always popped. If 2-3 friends join it’ll jump up to 8 quick, and then fill from there. goldrush/dustbowl is def. win, they have a few other maps thrown in, warpath (eh?) and they’re throwing in turbine soon. They have party mode on as well, and it’s fun as *edited*. Who doesn’t love a party hat ?

*yeah I def. have no leniency for it… you get a quick warning and on take 2 your gone, it’s never neccessary to bring racism into voice or esp chat.

sooooo good, that’s funny all around, just need to throw some midgets in here somewhere and we can sell this on ebay
yahoo is on crack, he just doesn’t like nuke for some reason, it never killed the server, i’ve def. seen people join up everytime we switch to it, and a lot of the good players at that. It’s a good map and fun, he’s just bitter. Secondly I don’t know how this map ever got lumped in with train or taken out in the first place. It is nothing like train, and has no effect on the server like train? They’re both bomb maps, and have spawns for t and ct, bout the only similarities.
I’d say I was getting spikes every… 4-7 min? I have a friend I was playing with on vent and he was also experiencing the same thing.
So i dunno if u guy saw game 2 of the pittsburgh/philly hockey series… but a guy took a slapshot to the face, and i threw in a – well that’ll put a hitch in HIS giddyup!!
