MajorMajorMajor, I have to agree, you sister is ignorant. (Though McCain dying and being replaced by Palin was the hope of many conservatives who voted for he. Kinda sad for him isn’t it lol?)
And Youwingameover, no one here said that you voted for Obama because he was black, but so many people did. In exit polling conducted by CNN (not my favorite source by any means so take this with a grain of salt) 80% of those who said race was a factor in their descision said that they voted for Barak Obama. I’m not going to lie, I honestly believe the average american voter, democrat or republican is ignorant. I mean check out the campaign ads, does a 30 second or 1 minute advertisement honestly change your mind? You and I would probably answer “no”, but the average american voter unfortunately would not answer that way. I mean honestly all McCain had to do to win was run a bunch of ads that claimed Obama was a muslim. It’s not true, but if it’s on TV it must be true! And most people do not do their own research. But let us forget the average American voter, since I doubt any of us here really fall into that category.
I will assume that you voted for Obama because of some of his policies that you like, not because of the platitudes of “Hope” and “Change” so would any Obama voters on here tell me exactly which policies of Obama made you vote for him?
Me, I voted for McCain and here is why:
It was hard for me to vote for McCain, because honestly if there is a Republican I hate, it is him. His absolute betrayal of the values of conservatism on so many issues (Amnesty, McCain-Feigngold, Gang of 14, etc.) made me want to vote for Bob Barr, the libertarian. I’m not saying that I disagreed with him on everything, but I felt I really couldn’t trust him. Then he added Palin to the ticket. There was so much speculation about if he would add a moderate as his vp or even go outside his party and choose Joe Lieberman, I knew if that happened, he would lose in a landslide and I most definitely could not vote for him. But he choose Palin. Now love her or hate her, she is a conservative, so I figured I could trust McCain to follow through on most of his policy decisions that I did like. (Foreign Policy, Taxes, Abortion, Judicial Nominees, etc.) I will reiterate, I did not like McCain, he was at the bottom of the list of presidents for me, just above Hillary and Obama, but conservatives got shafted in this race and Palin was the only close we had to a candidate we wanted. I am a conservative far before I am a Republican. So anyways that is why I voted for John McCain. Oh and because Obama is the most liberal candidate to ever be nominated to run for president.

Actually the book banning idea was derived from a quote made by a man who worked on a campaign for another man who Palin beat, so he’s not exactly an unbiased source now is he?
But let me get this straight, you are basing most of your dislike of Palin on the fact that her daughter is pregnant? You know even Obama wouldn’t touch that one? Because he rightfully acknowledged that his own mother was unmarried. I mean if Palin’s daughter shouldn’t have kept her baby, then do you think Obama’s mother should have? Or what about contraception for Obama? Think about it. I don’t think that you can be a teenager today in America and not know what a condom does. And maybe she was using a condom and it broke? You can’t seriously tell me that she didn’t know the consequences when she had sex.
But what does this all have to do about Palin? Is she unqualified to be vp because she believes in abstinence? Is your opinion that abstinence is such a stupid idea that anyone who believes it is stupid as well? So many people in the media and elsewhere have tried to proclaim Palin as unintelligent and thus unqualified.
I mean if you want to disqualify candidates by what their children do, every person with the last name of Kennedy should resign.

What amazes me is when certain politicians think they have the right to someone’s money, just because they have more of it than someone else does. (Actually it doesn’t really amaze me. Politicians are honestly filthy creatures.) Its class warfare plain and simple, steal from the rich and give to the poor and the poor will vote for you just to keep the goodies coming. The sick part is that the definition of rich keeps falling and falling. (This sort of makes me happy because the caring liberals of CA will get the hell taxed out of them because they make more than the rest of us do on average.) I mean $120,000 a year isn’t really that much money. #5 and I will be making at least that much straight out of school. It galls me to no end that some people who were either too lazy or incompetent to go to school and make good choices will somehow steal some of my money. I made my good choices, I studied hard, I worked, I saved to get to and through college and the government wants to penalize me for my success. Make no mistake, this isn’t just some good fortune that fell into my lap, there is not a day that goes by that I don’t get up and work my *edited* off to get ahead. People who work hard and don’t give up see success; those that don’t, fail and apparently are allowed to leech off of the rest of us. It’s not that the majority of the poor are somehow less lucky in life, its that they make poor decisions and take the quick and easy road. Do they ever stop and reflect how they got there? I don’t know, but they might find out how to be successful if they were cut off of the government teat. Work as a requirement of welfare all the way, and limited time on welfare as well. The only way to break the cycle of poverty is some tough love.

As #5 said, we really need to know the weekends far in advance so we can take some time off. We would probably need a three day or four day weekend if we were driving. Flying would be faster, but it costs money and I don’t trust them not to break my pc. So give us some times, but honestly it would have to be a spring break trip or St. Pat’s weekend. (Yes we get extra time off for that.) So, plan plan plan and the monkeys will arrive in large numbers. And when we do the rest of you better show up too!
Definitely get us the Spring LAN dates asap. The Monkeys might journey from Missouri to go to LAN. I’ve always been meaning to, but I need like a 3 day weekend to get all the driving in.

I have wished that for all maps forever. It would be great if you had to auto assign always. That cuts down on team stacking and clan stacking.

i mean look, i picked up an awp once killed two people, felt dirty about it and threw it away and used my deagle the rest of the round. its not like you need skills for it. you find a good camping spot, you move your mouse in the general direction of a person and pull the trigger and the person dies. if the person is not expecting the awp, there is no way they can survive, if they are, then they might be able to, the problem is you can dodge one, maybe two, but three and an auto? come on? anyone who thinks it can be done lets set up that same scenario and you try to live. also awpers move around so there is no way to know what corner they could be lurking around and you can only carry two flashes and a smoke.
besides the occasional random HS from across a map with an M3, i really have no problems with it. Though, it hates me. Whenever I use it i get 26 in 1 and then die whenever it is used against me it is 106 in one to my chest
