Multiple people on one account playing the same game.valve does not sell “LAN accounts” they sell LAN slots for $2 a person per day with a 2 day min. so the account is just a normal account with the games we play at the lans. we have used it 8+ times w/ sv_lan 1 set in offline mode, and it supports up to 9 or 10 offline users b4 it starts kicking ppl. not sure if the found out the loophole we have been using. but if so we got a uneless account on our hands.

remember dell will have 10 lappys their to run all the games if your equipement cannot. i know a few that are counting on them.

as much as i like my sandwitch, i think it would be a level playing field if everyone used the stock equipement. its just the fair way to do things. Hope we get to play some arena, as thats more fast past tourry style.
also in the past we have assigned random teams, as well as chosed our own. in both cases it was not a level playing field. I think if we select 4 team captons (and these being ppl that know the game and the players at western). it will split the better players up and the better runner up players up and each team will have a noob or 2.
well i admit, i have never read any EULA for any type of software i have ever used. and not sure if i will. when it comes down to like a car/house/loan or any other type of money skeem, i’ll read the fine print first

dang it, just played steam today, and i had 2 more settings i had to change. idk if its the same 2 or not. but i’m running 100% defult everything. (other than the settings its making me change)
Also when i have to DL a new map it says my version does not match and kicks me before ever DLing it. If i type retry it will DL it. this thing nearly running me away, it too much hassle to keep doing this.
in my eyes this just does not seem worth it. i’m sure its giving people hell for those that change your settings.. i mean i’m on a 100% fresh install and its a *edited* :thumbsdown_still:

i understand the numbers are the votes, but are we taking the top ___ # of votes?
AKA: how many pc games are we playing at the lan, how many consul games are being played? assuming we arnt playing all 10 PC games and all 18 consul games.
a solid way to know what peole like, google some stat sites, and find the toped ranked servers. join a handfull of them and within a week, one can get an idea on what most people like, and what settings are used on a popular server. then pick and choose a combonation of settings they are running.

- How many of the voted PC/Consul games are going to be played at the lan?
- And was their any disscussion about advertizing via napkin dispensers in UC and Doston?
- Any word on local sponcers? C.D. , Nexes, or E3
- Any word on server upgrade
i’m using this pos PC which had nothing on it at all. so i installed steam. So on a fresh install i stilll had to change 3 settings. and i’m preatty convenced most people dont know how to change a settings, even if they tell you which settings to change. maybe somethign to keep in mind.
