Assuming PNX Frank == Falcon, then yes you can still use my laptop.
I will try to get with Chupa tonight to figure out travel plans; be on IRC sometime tonight and we will figure them out.

Oh well the prize was something I already have anyway so i guess its no big deal.
Ok here is the deal; we clearly have enough people going that we are going to have multiple cars.
Kuros said he could drive and take 2 more ppl (so Princess plus one other)
Chupathingy said he could drive and take a couple people too.
I can drive but my car is a 2 door so I COULD take 2 ppl but the person sitting in the back might be a bit cramped.
Thus right now we should have room for 9 ppl and can probably stuff a 10th in one of the cars if needed. Not sure what kind of car Chupa is driving so don’t know how many he can take.
I was really hoping for HD DVD to be the winner. I bought my parents one of the $100 players at walmart back in November for christmas (plus it came with 5 free HD DVDs) so now they are stuck with dead technology. On the other hand I don’t feel too bad because honestly that player upscales regular DVDs so well they honestly look HD quality. This is where I think most consumers are going now anyways: buy a good upconverting player and wait for the next technology to come out. Seems logical to me I mean who wants to pay $400 for a Bluray player and then $30/movie?
MasterP, that is a GREAT Idea; we have WAY too many problems with ppl getting kicked/crashes that mess up scores that this would be a big asset. At worst, I am sure Liam or someone else could make such a plugin.
Hey I have a crazy idea to make teams; it is somewhat complicated but stick with me on this!
Start a 20 man server (assuming 20 players/4 teams obviously); have EVERYONE autojoin red/blue and play out like a 20 min map whereever (could be your chance for gravelpit!)
After the round, we divide up teams like so:
Team 1 gets: Red team places 1,5,9 Blue team places: 4,8
Team 2 gets: Red team places 2,6,10 Blue team places 3,7
Team 3 gets: Red 3,7 Blue 2,6,10
Team 4 gets: Red 4,8 Blue 1,5,9
That way the teams should be “relatively” even
Or you could do the same method but
Team 1 gets Red 1, 4, 5, 8, 9
Team 2 gets Red 2, 3, 6, 7, 10
Team 3 gets Blue 1, 4, 5, 8, 9
Team 4 gets Blue 2, 3, 6, 7, 10
I know that is a little complicated but you said you wanted fair teams rite???????
You don’t have to be good at TF2 to help our team achieve victory. Anyone that is not sure of what to do can do 1 of 2 things (a) be a medic and heal kuros or (
be an engineer and guard the intel. Or if your sniping skills are up to snuff, be a sniper.eqqcellent, we need to confirm dice and kappa and we should be good to go.
The ideal scenario is we want our 2 teams to dominate and play against each other in the finals

Ok so not the best movie but it does have like a 5 min first-person shot that is kinda cool. plus it has the rock!
If you want you can use my laptop that is VERY capable of playing tf2/cs:s and I can just bring my desktop for the games.
Also Falcon, I added you to the “definitely going” group
If we need to go 4 rounds, I suggest we add ctf_turbine_v3 (since its the only other good ctf map out there IMO)
BTW, mach4 is now on the server 😀
If we go 4 rounds, I suggest in order 2fort (warmup) well (1st round) turbine(2nd) and mach4(final)
Yeah Falcon if you want to come just to play that would be great as we already have to take 2 vehicles I’m sure we would have more than enough room for you if you want to go. I don’t know if we are going to have a very competitive team anyway; heck though if we get enough interest we can take enough for 2 teams!
I have to say I don’t like that this meeting is on Valentine’s Day; not sure if I can be there or not.
Ok I agree probably the only reason I didn’t like that map was b/c of the confusion in scoring.
On that note it does suck that you get 4 points for blowing up a target and only 1 for defending it
