Someone needs to contact them and make sure we don’t hold them on the same day.

This isn’t the school’s fault btw. They lied to their SGA and this is what happens with you lie to the people who control the multipurpose rooms. They hold you to them.

It would be like us telling Keith (our Resnet sponsor) that were spending the food money on pizze when instead we bought prizes with it. He may or may not find out but if he does we’re toast.

    That’s because AVG is terrible.

Run a Spybot and Malwarebytes scan then run the Onecare Safety Scanner.

If those come up clean you can run an Avira scan just to be on the safe side but I imagine the other 3 will have caught anything.

For Windows7 you need MSDN/MSDNAA. I also take cash.

You may not have a virus but to jump around in HD space like that is definately not normal for windows. Some viruses will use your computer as a storage dump for warez. I imagine that’s more likely than temp files.

I’m extremely close to buying this:

If you get the other Samsung and like it let me know.

I hate to agree with Kuros but Dell monitors are alot better than their PCs. I’d actually buy one in a not-so-parallel universe.

Kazka you weren’t around for this but anything SGA tells you is a lie. That’s the rule of thumb.

Hell for a while we boycotted SGA because they refused to fund the LANs.

Helping them out is nice and all but don’t get upset when you get nothing in return.

Well, think about how expensive NVIDIA’s will be. GUARANTEE they will cost nearly double, they always do for their top of the line cards.

Their top of the line NOW isn’t unbelievably slower. Tbh for the massive increase in raw power I’m disappointed that it doesn’t beat the GTX 285/295 anymore than it does. I mean unless you go up to 2500x???? they’re really not that much faster at all.

Really lag? There shouldn’t be any lag considering you are at Western.

No, you don’t understand Shingi. Western’s servers have horrible shot registry and the lag is unbearable. Even though there’s plenty of extra CPU power and ram with an array of *edited* fast hard drives on an unmetered and uncapped 1Gbit connection to a 600Mbit internet connection.

    Totally the server’s fault…

People are still complaining about the shot registry in CSS and it’s at 100tick.

    We’ll see.

It’s seems oftly rushed, like ATI has been releasing cards one after the other with hardly any pause between series. Eventually they’re going to run out of steam or something’s going to go terribly wrong.

Can probably play TF2 on a mix of low and medium and L4D on mostly low.

in b4 another FX5800-style launch from nvidia.

No, we just experienced a FX50000 series with the GTX200 class. More likely expect a late to the punch 6000 series style where the gain is mediocre but comparable to that of the competition.

Nvidia’s hinderance right now is cost. Given unlimited sale price they’d easily beat the *edited* out of ATI with a quadcore or something retarded like that but they chose to move to smaller die sizes while ATI kept perfecting the larger ones and it killed their sales price.

That and their current architecture is pretty inefficient.

Bravo to ATI for finally getting around to making anohter ATI 9800-style epic card. Hopefully the card will last as long as the hype predicts. Being the first DX11 card on the market, and being by ATI… I’m predicting failure. Firsts never win in this market.

So Tigerdirect says it supports Crossfire. Even if that’s true that doesn’t mean it supports SLI. They aren’t the same by far and aren’t interoperable.

Even if Tiger’s right and it does support Crossfire, it’s only at x8x8 which pretty much sucks. Most of the mid-range Intel boards are x16x16x8, with the x16x16 being for gaming and the x8 for a physics or tertiary monitor-only card.

Also, I wouldn’t trust Tiger. They’re wrong. ALOT.

vnc and RDP require someone on the other end to “accept” im not about to drive 2hrs to click ok

i need something truly “remote” for that reason.

Neither RDP or VNC need someone on at the remote machine. Hell with RDP all you need is an ethernet connection, no keyboard/mouse/monitor plugged into the remote machine. VNC might be like that now, last I tried it wasn’t.

Actually, the one I posted does support sli and I like it because it can use AM2, AM2+, and AM3 processors which is allows me to use a wider array of processors. I didnt like your mobo you posted cuz of video reviews and that lack of sli which I do kinda like the nvidia and sli technology.

Whoever told you a non-Nvidia AMD board supported SLI was lying.

The motherboard you posted doesn’t support either SLI or crossfire. If it does it sure doesn’t say anything about it.

ALL Core i5/i7 motherboards support SLI.

Modems with built-in routers are terrible.

    1. switch out the POS you have now with a modem only. It’s worth the drive. Do it now. I’ll wait…

    2. Get a $60-130 Linksys or Netgear router (preferably Linksys).

    3. ????

    4. Profit

You don’t have to do any port forwarding for gaming if you have a decent router and you should NEVER be kicked completely off the internet unless it’s down in your area.

Delhomme threw the first game of the season so that all the panthers fans that were already pretty leary of him would just switch to completely hating him, thus driving down any expectations that he would do good and basically take off any pressure he has to do good.

If that’s the case then job very well done.

this time it wasnt his fault.

Quite true but so far that’s only the case on 1 of their last 6 games. Note I said 6, after the way he threw interceptions seemingly on purpose during their last postseason game last season I almost rq’d being a panther fan.

Also they aren’t going to get rid of him Their backups are terrible and they just resigned him for 5 years with 20 million guaranteed… they will make sure they get their money’s worth.

During the pre-season games they played a QB that actually looked really good. Can’t remember who it was but he did better than Delhomme did when they pulled him out to activate rape-mode towards the end of the game.
