This isn’t the set in stone list, you can still sign up for tournaments at the door. This just gives the execs and tournament coordinators an idea of how many to prepare for.
Depending on who is running the individual tournaments you may or may not be able to switch between two concurrent tournaments. If at any time you end up being called to play both at the same time you need to drop out of one rather than make everyone wait.
If all goes according to plan Bioshock 2 will be in DirectX 10 and 11 but everyone will claim the 2 are identical and that you can’t tell the difference.
But by their own logic DirectX 9 “looked the same” as 10.
Therefore, according to the retards of the internet, DirectX 9 looks just like DirectX 11 when it comes to Bioshock games.
I’ll ask once again, what setting are we using now that you think needs to be changed?
Be specific because when I set “bogus_server_settings 0” it says invalid command.

If the settings are so terrible which ones do we need to “fix”? I’ve been very accommodating and have done exactly what you’ve said would fix the server and now it still has “horrible settings” and we need to lower it to 66tick and blah blah.
Either get over it, help us fix it, or leave. Continually *edited*ing in our corn flakes for a problem you aren’t helping fix doesn’t do anything but *edited* the server operators off.

If integrated into the post-install section using a slipstream this could most definately produce massive amounts of win. Too bad where I currently work would never let me do that.

Meat quality returns are probably very dependent on the butcher onsite. I buy alot of meat from Sams Club and some butchers will custom cut you whatever you want regardless of size or cost while others will barely give you the time of day.

In reality though, the person who bought that probably didn’t get a replacement, they were just out the money. Sierra was a better company than Valve could ever be.
No, if we go with option 3 we can raise the rates as high as we want without it affecting anything. The “raise it some” becomes “how high can we go before people complain about choke”.

Assholes like you are why I had to spend an hour on the phone getting another Homeworld2 serial key.
We have 3 options for this:
1) Lower the player slots
2) Lower the tickrate
3) Get a new server
4) Raise it some, how much is unknown
The plain and simple truth is that we need more power. We shouldn’t have a server this size at 100tick which is something that’s been said since day 1. It simply requires too much server power to run at the quality you guys are going to want.
We can up the power CSS needs but keep in mind that we’re going to hit the barrier of how disproportionate I’m willing to let this server go in terms of power. Once that limit is hit you guys are either going to have to stop whining and learn to play the game without inventing excuses for every death or we’ll look to other ways to get the shot reg up to where you think it should be. 66tick would not be out of the question at that point nor would lowering it down to 24slot.
I know what you’re saying Bitey, sometimes I rape face and others I can’t hit anything but when I actually go back and look, the time where shots didn’t “register” the bullets didn’t actually go where the guy was standing. This isnt’ the server’s fault, this is mine for not aiming well enough.
Oh I understand the full cost would require the high price but I wasn’t including the production cost, just the physical cost. Since this game was created for a console, the conversion costs for the PC should have been significantly less than that required to charge $60 for the game.
Considering the fact that this is the first $60 FPS game in a LONG time I imagine the extra cost isn’t associated with any sort of overhead or production overshoot. It’s mearly so that both versions cost the same and profits are high. There’s really no other explaination for it.

They’re not. They can arbitrarily set the cost of the game to be whatever they want. It costs maybe $1 to make and distribute the game, everything beyond that is profit.

It may not be so easy with console stuff. Microsoft isn’t likely to be happy when they get a “bad” product back that’s actually good.
I’d look around for their return policy signs because I know electronics are different than the rest of the store.

They’re treating MW2 like a console game and consider the PC version to be a “conversion”. In their minds, if the PC had a lower pricetag then more people would likely get it on the PC instead of console.
Nickname plays with custom skins all the time and if they didn’t work on our server he’d have *edited*ed at me at me about it by now. We allow custom skins but not custom materials and effects because of the abusive and cheat potential. I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
As for interp you’ll have to talk with Lemm because that’s a server setting but in all honesty if your rates are where they’re supposed to be then YOU shouldn’t get any lag. It’s others that should.
If you’re getting choke then that’s likely the cause of any bullet registration issues you’re having and unless you’ve tried it with Vsync on I’m not going to start monkeying with the server. If you want our help you need to at least try what we tell you.
We can extend the roundtime if need be although if it’s taken longer than 2 minutes someone is obviously camping.
Win7 does gaming the exact same as Vista. If there’s any change it’s for the better.
If you’re playing CS/CSS/TF2 there is no difference at all. Newer games should actually see an improvement in performance because Win7 is a ligher OS.
The only time a game would get worse is if your drivers are bad.
I mean I can fully understand why people hate Walmart and they do use sketchy tactics NOW but when you look at how they got to where they are now it’s really nothing more than starting out small and taking expansion babysteps that gradually increased in size to giant leaps. The states that complain and care the least are the ones where they’ve been the longest. I can’t ever remember there not being a Walmart where I live but just because there’s a Walmart in Salisbury doesn’t mean Food Lion, who’s headquarters is in Salisbury, does any worse. Their prices are higher but not high enough to warrant driving the extra 15 minutes to the Walmart.
