not the same as the OP but could this still work?
That’s a router, and you’re an idiot.

Btw, Walmart doesn’t do anything someone else wouldn’t have done otherwise. I don’t know where you got that quote but whoever said it was obviously a liberal and obviously knew nothing about free market economies work or why Walmart’s business model puts everyone else out of business. While they were bashing Walmart their significant other was likely at one buying groceries.
Walmart’s success has nothing to do with their size or prices. It entirely revolves around how they do business and set prices to barely achieve profit. Many people honestly think Harris Teeter has better food than other grocery stores but it’s the exact same thing in the exact same packaging at 20% higher prices. The extra cost goes into their pocket. Walmart does the exact opposite and cuts profits down to a bare minimum but makes up for it in volume.

ParticipantYou really are gullible to the placebo effect aren’t you?
MasterP
ParticipantBtw Dice, the item he posted is NOT the same as what you have in the OP. The OP is a Linksys that is likely much more powerful. The stock Microsoft is what he linked you at Walmart.
Like I said, it’s unlikely that any major retailed carries 3rd party adapters for consoles like that.

hey man…technically walmart is raping small business all around america…talk about unethical. Just think of it as sticking it the man

If by raping you mean being more efficient and offering lower prices for items in a capitalist market…
Walmart started out as a mom-and-pop store. Don’t begrudge someone because their business was a success. There’s nothing wrong with what they’re doing.

ParticipantMy review is this: GET IT NOW!
It’s lightyears better than Vista.
As for the fresh install, it’s really up to you. You don’t HAVE to but I would. I’ve seen some in-place upgrades fail and well, that’s not the boat you want to be in.
You might try swinging by the CRIB with a DVD and see if they can burn you a copy.

ParticipantPreload is open now. The demo should be at the bottom of your list of games.
It doesn’t tell you the size but it’s 2.7GB. Also, the files are encryted so you can’t play it or watch the videos.

Note this is ONLY for those who pre-ordered. Everyone else has to wait a few weeks to play.

ParticipantI’m almost positive Walmart/Kmart/Sam’s doesn’t sell the adapter he’s looking at in the OP.
Best Buy might but you can’t return working items like you can at Walmart.
Circuit City might. Oh wait…
MasterP
ParticipantI’ve also noticed this error.
I’m using IE8 on Win7 Pro.
MasterP
ParticipantWhy are you installing Vista when you have Windows7?
MasterP
ParticipantNuRayZ said:
why don’t you just buy it, and if it doesn’t reach, return it and say it didn’t work. It’s not like you’re lying lol
If he buys it from Ebay or Amazon that won’t work.
MasterP
ParticipantIt crashed and no one told anyone that could restart it.
It’s back up now.

im using this tool to prevent Vista Wireless scanning every 60 sec for another network thats better to log on… This tool WLANoptimizer only disables the scanning function meanwhile makes sure that the wireless works again when starting up the pc
You realize Vista has the option to do that itself without needing extra programs running.
The only program I’d ever recommend running between your OS and a network card is DXPORT.
Try turning the program off and see if you really get any more lag. If you’ve set your network up correctly I can promise you won’t.
If you’re getting choke try turning Vsync on. You mentioned you had 100fps which means turning it on would lighten the load on your computer and give you the same experience.

ParticipantIt isn’t Windows7’s fault that you were dualbooting 2 OS’s off the same HD and then ran an unknown cleanup program from inside the lesser OS.
Take all HDs out except the one that had XP/Win7. Boot to the Windows7 install DVD and at the main screen hit Next, then Repair your computer. The installer will then scan for windows installations. When it’s done scanning hit Next then use the Startup Repair tool. It should scan for problems, like a missing BCD, and either repair the existing one or create a new one if it’s missing or corrupt.
NTLDR should be missing because Windows7 takes over the entire boot process and since it doesn’t need the WinXP boot files it removes them to prevent the computer from accidentally using the WinXP boot manager instead of the Windows7 BCD. Depending on how much of the WindowsXP and Windows7 installations were corrupted you may end up having to reinstall both OS’s.

ParticipantFor 3 houses down it’s likely the only way you’ll get an enjoyable experience is with some sort of Wireless N adapter which I don’t think the 360 has.
Might want to just man up and get Roadrunner light or DSL light for like $20/month. If you spend $100 on this adapter and it doesn’t work that’s almost half a years worth of internet you could have had.
MasterP
ParticipantGL with that.
MasterP
ParticipantYou could before you installed Windows7. Now your options are much more limited.
What is the error code you are getting? It should be in the format 0x0000007b.
MasterP
ParticipantWhats the boot error you get?
There are about a thousand different error codes, each with their own solution, so telling us you get “soem BOOT eror” isn’t descriptive enough for us to give advice.
Btw if you used System Restore you won’t get any of your files back. It only saves OS files and viruses, not personal content.

ParticipantI think Walk Disney had a night set aside during the production of every one of his earlier movies where all they did that night was do drugs and animate the weirdest thing they could think of at the time and regardless of what it was it would be still be put into the movie.

could it be im running WLANoptimizer to avoid lag spikes? that streaming mode?
Any program that stands between Windows and your network card is going to cause issues. It may not be causing this problem but stuff like that has no place in the real world, it simply doesn’t fix anything and any change in lag is due to placebo effect.

ParticipantTypically you can pre-load several days ahead of time. We’ll probably get a pre-load on the demo as well simply because Steam doesn’t have the resources to have everyone download the second they hit the “Release to public” button.

ParticipantThere are many subjects where using Wiki is dangerous but typically science related articles on it are just as accurate, if not moreso, than any “credible” source.
Short of journals it’s about as close as you can get in most respects.
MasterP
ParticipantLooks much better than stock. Right now I’ll settle for that

You got kicked out of WCU? How are you still posting from Scott?
I created a GUI interface using visual basic, see if I can troll some more.
You could be Bill Gates himself and I’d still ban you for trolling.
Bragging about being good at something and then saying you won’t help us because we punished you for breaking the rules doesn’t really garner you any support here.

He actually pulled it off Wikipedia and unless you’re a chemist, chemical engineer, or biologist with extensive knowledge of the chemical effects of l-dopa on the human body you really can’t refute it. When it comes to science, Wiki is typically very accurate. Like accurate enough to source in a senior project if your professor isn’t retarded.
Wiki isn’t even a secondary source. How can you pull that crap off for a senior project (unless if you’re talking about high school)?
It’s not hard really. In the world of experimental physics, sources are few and wiki is right. Our advisor told us to use Wiki if we wanted because the leading source for it right now is wrong, at least according to our calculations.
