That was the first post in a month that forced me to slow down while reading to understand. GG
If we print them, they’ll toss them in the trash. If Reslife prints them they’ll at least make it to the RAs, then get tossed in the trash. Just print a crapton and the execs can hang them up, at least that way it bypasses 2 trashcan entry points.

Overheating or bad power. Neither of which corrupt windows unless you’re running raid0.

So the power went out and now you can’t boot Windows? Wtf? You have any idea what the odds of a power outage causing that kind of data loss is?

Pitagot I don’t have a problem with charities. I do have a problem with fundraisers that funnel money back to the school. Like I told Dice, I don’t really want to derail this thread anymore than I already have.
Is it just me or have there been alot of greeks capitalizing on the Gaming Club’s success by adverting in our forums? I’m all about charities like RfL but this event isn’t exactly a charity.

I do agree with that. While I don’t mind giving the bigger prizes away in a raffle of some sort, I should have gotten SOMETHING for winning TF2.
Also, for team based games where your score actually matters, you might want to consider giving a prize for the highest score. For example, in CoD4 when my team lost I still had the highest score out of both teams. It was a much higher score than Shane Baker, who in fact, is a terrible RCC.

Both feeds are an equal distance from the consoles and the one we usually use is the easiest to set up for the PCs which have the greatest need. The other feed is behind where the prize tables were.

The power going out was a good sign, btw. Growth is always good.
Did the UC staff have to reset one of their own breakers to fix it? If so this might be the perfect opportunity to force them to give us the larger power box we’ve wanted all along.
Problem appears to be an issue with your ISP. When I traced you IP I stopped recieving node location names at Newark.
Give it 24-48 hours and see if it clears.
