Guitar Hero Tournament is being held this weekend April 20th from 2-6pm in the uc at room 232. The sign up is till Friday and is being held in the uc on the 2nd floor from 11-3pm. It will be a bracket style. There will be all levels of play. Winners will be receiving money rewards. There is a buy in and that amount that winners will receive depends upon the number play signing up. So every one that wants to play please come out and support us, it would be much appreciated.
most people dont know who “us” is. might wont to give details about your organization and where the benefits are going twards exc exc..
us is the Kappa Kappa Psi MC class and the money raised will be going to to the music department i.e paying for our serivce project for the music department.
Is it just me or have there been alot of greeks capitalizing on the Gaming Club’s success by adverting in our forums? I’m all about charities like RfL but this event isn’t exactly a charity.
It may not be a charity yes but the money made does go back to the school to help make the school become a better place. If every one just went to school here and just sat around it wouldn’t be the place it is right now, because it takes the students to make a school what it is. So Any support would be great and thank you all for coming out and signing up.

Pitagot I don’t have a problem with charities. I do have a problem with fundraisers that funnel money back to the school. Like I told Dice, I don’t really want to derail this thread anymore than I already have.

It shows how far we have come
It shows that we are well established
it shows the “oh so cool greeks” know of the “little nurdy gaming club” (stereotyping of course)
It shows that our club is a big part of this campus
As GH3 is a game, it shows the university officials Everyone plays, not just this club.
This event can very well pull member into our club. Good chance for our marketing admin to go out and recruit
gotta givea alittle to take a little.. yeah their’s negative sides, i just care to look at the bright side of lyfe
