a server that has over 50% custom maps is usually recipe for failure and will only keep a constant few, im jsut trying to add some flavor
if you wait till around 9 ill have the rotation i want listed

Im merely looking at the vote i made, and determined (obviously) that most people want custom maps in the server. Don’t think im just doing what i want, because then we would already have a votemap server up and running. im doing what the majority of the people want from the server so the majority of the people will enjoy it.

3 things i want to point out. 1) i love this. i think that this would be awesome for a steady active server and would keep the population happy as it’s doing with PGN. 2) As of right now, the server is only half populated half the time with fluctuations happening constantly. 3) the majority of you guys voted that you want custom maps thrown in to spice up the rotation so heres my proposal:
we keep the rotation of what you’ve chosen (maybe have both awp_dust and fy_snow at different times) but also throw in 2 or 3 other custom maps to see how they fair, if people like them, and what it does to the population: they stay; if you guys hate it, and people leave: then we ditch em. The rotation would be longer and have more variation, while also sticking to the basic maps that everyone loves. I also think it would give us something specifically different than PGN so it wont end up being a choice of a Full Server w/ standard rotation versus half full server w/ standard population
Im in DC this weekend so i wont be playing, but i will have the rotation set up by monday. we will have it up and running, so after than you can criticize away and tell me how yours is better

its time we get moving on this. Most of you want something with classic & custom maps, you guys jsut cant decide on votemap or rotation.
since “the rotations” have one more vote compared to “the voters” we will stick with a rotation at this time. just remember nothing is set in stone so if this needs to be looked at again we can go back and revise it. it worked before, get a good rotation and it should work again.
all map / rotation suggestions toss em into the “favorite maps” thread

i love the idea that you have so shoot off the limbs to kill them… i really hope that it plays well so that it will be a good game that poses a whole different strategy from other shooters

idk I have never been able to get CS1.6 to use 32bit as it does the same thing as yours, crashes and resets to default. You can try manually forcing it to that resolution using the same method I described earlier.that worked wonderfully… i also upgraded to HDMI jsut cause i could and everything looks awesomeness now
