RTV seems to have a bug. The bug is that if there are only two people in the server that it still needs 13 or so votes to get activated. This seems like an issue if there is a small number of people in the server. The main purpose for RTV is if there isnt and admin around they chan change the map, or for our case more than half full it will allow us to change the maps by an RTV command other than a vote.

 

I dont think it is doing much good. NoDice noticed it in the server and may have posted it elsewhere. I just haven’t seen it.

its not that it needs 13 is “needs 13 or 75%” so if there was 5 ppl on and 4 RTV, it till go to a vote

 

im sure if 2 peeps were on and both RTV-ed then it would work but ill pop on around 10 and play with it cause there is usually very few ppl in then.

At the moment, that rule is there to protect the server from being at the admins will and being forced to play only maps the admins want. I’m not going to be a stickler about map votes just yet, as you guys are very familer with the server and can read what the population wants as the population changes. I dont mind if you see the server pop dropping dramatically and you throw a vote up so that it stays full, but the second we start hearing complaints from the server about how you guys are making it 24/7 dust2/inferno/scoutz then i will be giving out warning and removing admins who continue to break that rule.

 

Really the rules are there so that you guys dont go out and make WCU look bad and become tyrants on the server. You guys have been awesome the past few month and besides uber slapping campers there have been no problems with you guys, Just keep what your doing and help the server out and we will all be good.

 

Also once Liam gets the changes i asked for in, and we update the rotation, then i hope you guys will never have to vote map except for fun maps
