scam and owned

Ok so you all know I have been trying to sell my laptop on here, I also posted it on Craigslist. Observe the following conversation between me and a scam artist.

asap. I have taken a close look at the advert and am completely

satisfied i really need this and will appreciates that you help save

this for me till the payment arrives as it will save me some extra cost***

At this point I got a very fake check in the mail from fedex; picture is attached. Also the return address on the fedex slip didnt match where it was picked up according to the fedex online tracker…

BTW, I was at that time selling the laptop for $700.

Please note that you will be paying whatever the western union or

I am happy to inform you that I have alerted the FBI as well as the state police of both California (where you want me to spend money to) and New Jersey (where the fedex shipment originated) about your fraudulent scam. I am sure FedEx will be more than happy to give them the information they need to track you down.

 

I actually made up all of the above, but I will be alerting all authorities mentioned above in 48 hours unless you send me a U.S. Postal Money Order for the amount of $1000. I believe you already have my address.
