i do prefer dogs over cats, but my mom says she’ll never let me have another dog/…..

Come on raine get your facts straight there have been many cases that cats care about things like that. Just because they don’t react like a dog doesn’t mean they don’t care.

one time we went away and left my dog at my uncles place, he didn’t eat for 2 days, cause he was </3 we left him there.

i’m not joking here, that’s what my dad did for our dog, worked like a charm, our dog knew he was number two and accepted his place in the family. We never had a problem and he was the best dog we’ve ever had, he watched over me all the time, and i always felt safe around him, in fact once my brother and i were wrestling one day in a fight, and he came in and separated us, he didn’t he make a sound, just put himself between us and stood there.
or you can find another way, but that’s the way i know, and it’s always worked for me
my dad used to look after my aunts dog when she went away, and he a really big husky, and he tried to bite my dad when he tried to take his water dish to fill it up, and he was snarling etc, so he kicked him in the head, he then realized he was not the alpha dog.
You can teach cats tricks, you can teach almost any animal a trick, most cats are just like why the *edited* do I want to do that.
Also teeth to a dogs throat, ummm no, listen I owned a Jack Russel Terrier when I was younger we raised in a loving environment and trained it very well. One day this ol’ Jack Russel decided he was going to bite me, and he got me real good, well after a while I grew up and wasn’t as scared of him anymore, he came at me again one day and I grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and threw him up against a wall and the little *edited*er got back up and came after me. I understand you like dogs, but dogs can kill a person, what cat can kill a person, other than by some kind of blood poisoning? My point in case, I love dogs too but cats are basically free and will give you just as much affection a dog will, plus provide equal to if not more entertainment than a dog. So stop knocking cats they are the *edited* and you know it, so get ovah it!
Also just for clarification:
dogs eat you when you die

dogs barf when they eat too much grass
dogs(some) generally only tolerate your presence
therefore dogs too are fail as pets
dogs kill birds, rabbits, and other wild animals
dogs be just as guilty and have just as many cons!
maybe…but every dog i’ve know has been very well mannered…so i dunno…and of course dogs have their flaws, but i still like them a lot. I like cats too, i mean i took care of my neighbors cats all through high school, and we got along fairly well, just if i was to get a pet, i’d get a dog. Also i hate lolcats, i do, those are just not funny at all
