A few days ago, I was hanging around a computer lab, waiting for my professor to arive and open it up for class. Then I noticed this flier. I thought it was funny, so I took a picture with my phone. A few minutes later, my professor showed up and saw the flier. He sighed, stared at it for a few seconds, then laughed.

why is that the best choice for the log, it looks like 4 feet over the chasm is shorter… unless there is some serious foreshortening due to angle

Nah, what you don’t realize is that just out of frame is a monster from the blackest, coldest, darkest depths of doom. Sticking up in the chasm, so yeah that 4 foot gap just got a lot bigger.
