I wrongly assumed that the qualifications had something to do with intelligence, maturity, and committment to the server!

Apparently I was very wrong about you guys…

    1. Intelligence= Fail

    2. Maturity = Fail

    3. Committment = Pass

    1/3 = 33% = Fail

Or the stupid respawn to work, which may entail turning off infinite grenades which is NOT going to happen.

Since you’ve read this, why don’t you go ahead and add it to the list and rotation?

Several things went down that *edited*ed me off:

    1. We’ve talked a zillion threads about map voting and it’s been said over and over again DON’T DO IT.

    2. I asked you nicely to cancel the vote, you did not. (ma_votecancel did not work or I would have myself)

    3. You did not throw a vote for a random map after I told you not to vote in the first place, and we had just played dust2.

    4. You THREW ANOTHER VOTE WHEN THE MAP CHANGED BACK TO DUST…as if you didn’t get the hint already.

    5. You proceeded to *edited* at me after I warned you repeatedly you were going to get kicked.

    6. You came back and did the same thing after you had been kicked, apparently you didn’t get the hint again.

    7. We had to strip admin powers, which makes us look really retarded for giving them in the first place.

I think people are missing that a lot of PC tournaments got cut short as well. The way we had the schedule worked out was near perfect. The problem is getting people set up and logged into the games. We lost OVER 2.5 hours of game time that would have bumped the halo tournament up as early as 10. This 2.5 hours was lost to people not having games etc that they were supposed to get before the event even started. My point is that a lot of this stuff is out of our control.

I love calling people names. It’s my favorite. We were in cbbl and t’s rushed b and stopped in that little room and got some got killed by the grenade that flew into the middle of them and the rest were picked off one by one. Way to RUSH. Man people are stupid.

As far is the 12 oclock thing goes, we set it up late for a reason. There would be no tournament or free play at at all if people weren’t forced to be there all night and not take off with their tvs. You have to remember that running consoles is new to us and we are still experimenting with what works and doesn’t. Obviously the way we ran it this time did not work. Next time we won’t do the same thing.

The server ping limit has already been lowered to 200. 200 is where it stays.

If we actually ANALYZE this rather than look at which one is biggest, the awp clearly wins to have some kind of restriction 6-4 and auto snipers 7-3. So yeah…so much for Killty’s argument.

Well we now know several things as far as PC tournaments go. The main thing we learned is that we didn’t need quite as much time as we had planned for quake 3 and cs:s. It would also be nice if people would tell us they needed games a lot earlier than 2 seconds before the tourney starts. I think we can compress a bit more and fit in more time for console tournaments.

We may try to get started earlier (or on time even) and things will go much more smoothly, especially if we have networking there earlier. That was our faults for not getting up with them before hand on what time we were going to be there. Of course we decided over Borat at 9 Friday night…ah welll.
