dang! okay, okay, just to try to come close I’m a gonna make a user on this rig and turn off everything I don’t need (hp drivers take a shatload of cpu time and ram) and I’m gonna try to challenge that…no, wait, nevermind, you have the cs:s test. just to see, I’ll still try that other user crap… anywho, i got this:

ParticipantWho else wishes to challenge the pwnasaur?
January 28, 2007 at 10:51 pm #15590gxti
ParticipantOf course, framerate varies by settings. I get 115, but I’ve got everything balls-to-the-wall.
January 28, 2007 at 10:58 pm #15592

ParticipantStop attaching bitmap files, you lazy *edited*s. You’re wasting space, and firefox on linux can’t even display them.
EDIT: *edited* it, bmp files aren’t allowed as attachment files anymore. Learn to use jpg/png, plox!

ParticipantI know how to use them. But really, are your screenshots important enough that i should have to download them and open an image editor just to look at a 2mb file of some text on a screen? </rant>
February 15, 2007 at 12:35 am #16694stevorob
ParticipantI get 122 with 1280×1024 4x AA and 16x ASF. Everything else on high.
I’m on an ATI X850XT @ 615core/633mem
February 15, 2007 at 1:04 am #16698gxti
ParticipantSimilar settings, same framerate, 7900GT. My card, however, does not come with AIDS, but with win! Nvidia FTW.
February 15, 2007 at 1:36 am #16703stevorob
ParticipantNever was a fan of nvidia… always had issues with mine. Of the ATI cards I have, none of them have given me any problems.
To each his own. I’m not bashing nvidia… just not for me
February 15, 2007 at 3:25 am #16709Falcon
Participanteh, I dig nvidia for their general linux compatibility… ATI runs a good market on windows cards though, for directx laden apps
February 15, 2007 at 8:58 am #16714
Adam FaulknerParticipantATI CCS is SO BAD, watches as it tears away at my ram. The dam program needs more ram that what is stored on the card and the functionality is limited. I still cant find vertical sync and OpenGL setting in the control center. Nvidia on the other hand has a very scaled down version that works perfectly inside windows display properties.
Now .. point proven.

Participant7600 FTW

February 15, 2007 at 12:31 pm #16728JazzmanSA80
ParticipantBoo-yah! Plus it’s clearly has the most leet performance.
February 15, 2007 at 2:43 pm #16731Kuros
ParticipantI am humbled.
February 15, 2007 at 4:16 pm #16733JazzmanSA80
ParticipantIn all seriousness, I wish I could afford a system like yours, but I did pretty good on an $800 budget. NEW EGG FTW. Plus I’m an Intel dude, and that cost me some extra.
I concede to your superiority, Kuros- even if your rig still needs a dash of 1337
