We may want to think of supporting this in the club. It seems really popular. And no, the COD2 server was voted out some time ago.
They (Valve) were doing some messing around with the netcode. I’m also enforcing rates which will make you ping higher.

Those flyers you speak of came off my personal printer. I myself had to print those flyers from my own toner and paper. I can’t do that every meeting.

I have a Logitech MX518 that I won at one of the LANs and still haven’t opened it, I already own a MX518 and haven’t had to replace it in the 3-4 years of owning it, if that tells you anything. The headset I won at one of the LANs though absolutely blows. It pops, cuts off, and now the right side speaker is dead so I’m looking to buy a Steel Series. I’m hoping for a USB version but at this point, whatever works. . This will automatically cycle you through GameSurge servers should any of them be down.One time after a LAN event I went over to a friends house and drank some beer and beat Adambomb’s *edited* at Fight Night 3. Or maybe that was after 3 or 4 LANs. One loses track after beating him over 10 times.
My internet is trash right now. Once it’s fixed I will be on a lot more but it will probably be more along the lines of TF2 for me.
There is an easy fix to this problem that Liam has been made aware of. We can either individually stop the firedaemon apps (which are most likely what hung up on shutdown) and make sure they died peacefully or shutdown /f /r in command prompt. The latter is much easier and equally, if not more, effective.

The only downside is that at LANs, as council leader, you’re in charge of overseeing a lot of tournament, which can run at the same time and overlap. Yeah.. I appoint some volunteers, but I always check in to make sure things are running smoothly. And generally, there are a lot of last minute sign-ins, so I have to adapt and update brackets constantly, even mid-tournament.Which is why you were (no offense to anyone else) probably the best council leader that I’ve ever seen come through the club. You did a great job and I hate to see you go, but I definitely understand where you are coming from.
Mike do you have one of the mini usb transfer cables for cell phones? I need to use one for like 10 minutes. Gonna set the looping radio mix to my ringtone.
