If you dig around for like 2 minutes you’ll find at least 200 posts of my different problems with Liam.
Remove the client. There is nothing wrong with MS ftp. I think the box needs a format now that he who must not be named is gone. Furthermore, as much of a pain in the *edited* I know it would be, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to reinstall all servers from scratch along with their respective mods. Make backups of course. It would be much faster than trying to diagnose all the problems that he who must not be named has caused with the processes.

Multi CPU, while also technically hardware based, requires the game to be Multi CPU ready for some reason.

Actually you’ll find that multi-threading and sli are both done via the software. One of the biggest complaints about the c++ language is that there is no multi-threading language support. You’ll also find that Windows XP also lacked multi-threading support for quite some time. All SLI compatible games have an option to turn SLI on or off. Many older games were patched to allow for multi-core cpus but most were not updated for multi-core gpus. SLI wasn’t really developed for gaming, it kind of got pushed that way more or less. Most games today still don’t fully support SLI for this reason despite how long SLI has been in existence.
They keys are generic and will work for either 32 or 64 bit versions. You’re supposed to contact your product vendor for the alternate disc. I’m sure there are about 200 people at the LAN that can get you a 64 bit disk.

I installed Ubuntu 8.1 a few days ago and basically got rid of my Windows partition. With very little tweaking, CS 1.6 and CSS are working seamlessly and just about anything else I could ever need.
This event has not been posted on the home page and there is no sticky with a date and time…there’s not much of anything. Where is the advertising for this event for those of us who do not live on or go to campus? It’s a week away and I had no idea when it was until I dug up this thread. I actually planned to possibly attend this one.
