just for *edited*s and giggles, despite the fact that most of the clans I’ve seen recently have been divided by the teambalancer, could we try to add in some kind of a clan detection system? comparing names to see common phrases, like aCe. or [WCU] (even though it’s not a clan, but a club) or what have you… or possibly just having a file listing all known clans that we update by hand?

eh, just randomly chipping my $0.02 about rival schools… I come from another BIG local rivalry, Pisgah v. Tuscola. Tuscola’s from one side of Haywood, and Pisgah the other. Honestly they’re about a 20 minute drive from each other. For many many years our schools have been rivals in *edited* near every aspect of athletic competition, from football to baseball to whatever else. The two schools aren’t in the same conference, yet they play every year. Trust me, it’s f***ing huge. I would venture to say that we prolly put a capacity crowd by WCU’s stadium into a stadium with nowhere near the same capacity. We have bonfires the night before the big game. We had a f***ing Charlie Daniels concert at the football game last year. A Highway Patrol helicopter brought in the game ball. I’m telling ya, it’s huge. but 20 minutes after it’s over, guys from either side of the stadium are hanging out at the Huddle House or Sonic or getting smashed together or whatever else. In essence, the rivalry is the knot that keeps a very tremendous friendship between the two schools any time other than game day.
I dunno if that compares 1:1 to the WCU v. App rivalry, but that’s what I have in mind that we should try to be and support between the two clubs. On game day, or LAN day, bitter enemies. but as soon as it’s all said and done, the kind of crowd that kicks back and has a few figurative cold beers with each other. Or those like Kuros that are old enough really could.
I don’t know if you ever watched a show from back in teh glory days of TechTV called The Screen Savers, but they did a segment every so often about a $500 gaming PC. They’d go out to pricewatch.com and such and see what they could put together for under $500, and they’d use whatever monitor and keyboard and mouse they had already. Google $500 gaming PC for some ideas, or try to go it yourself.

as I have mentioned, I’m stepping down from M.A. and CL at next meeting and focusing on RCC work and my new major. Those interested in marketing administrator work, read up on teh constitution and you’ll see all the duties.
I think somehow wmp writes directly to the video card or integrated chip, and thus anything that doesn’t intercept your screen at the end of the video output process won’t catch it… if you find something that can intercept your video card’s final compilations you’d be golden, otherwise do like everyone else and break out the digital camera.

hmm, so even at Jagr’s figured $0.50/day rate of WoW, I’m still too tight up financially right now. Thus I have no interest in resurrecting this account (iIsFalcon) until AFTER I have wheels. simple as that
however, there is a lovely rooftop in plain sight noone ever checks. call it hiding in plain sight or whatever, but if you box jump onto the lower roof of the warehouse coming from, ah, I think ct side, then you can see almost all the way to spawn. that and everyone’ll still be in one big bunch, so noscoping is absolutely recommended
aaaand add this to the list… I’ll only be swinging a maximum of one position this time, summer’s teaching me the hard way that money is, well, gold. So a pretty fair portion of my free time is gonna be me running around playing RCC to make a buck. If noone else wants it I’ll still run for council leader of whatever it was, but no marketing administrator. Deduct me from executive priv’s and such, I know, but right now I need the money more. Actually I could use the money within about a week, but it’s about a year’s earnings I’m crossin mah fingers for, so fat chance.
long story short: you’ll have the greatest procrastinator/slacker possible in office if you put me there. you’ve been warned
I’ll prolly be AWOL as well at least until this weekend. I’m at the beach, and so right now I’m taking my vacation. when I get back, there’s dial-up at home, and in an unexpected little twist, my grandma has high-speed. She doesn’t have any rig capable of much, it’s a p1 box i think, but still it can boot ie (barely). I may set up there, or I may remain on my dial-up at home.
