    My guess is Bill.

I was always a little confused about the stories in L4D. I wasn’t sure if they all took place, one after another or if they were all possible stories, like alternate versions of the same incident.

SGA already recognizes and funds a gaming club with a set of dedicated execs, a soon-to-be functional constitution, and a history of successul on-campus events. What is their motivation for recognizing and funding a second one?

Unless I am mistaken, SGA rarely agrees to recognize or fund two clubs with similar goals.

This is a good idea, though unless we move the comments from the minutes thread…don’t think it will work because people are used to posting under the minutes. But I love the idea.

    I locked the minutes thread.

Well, the minute threads tend to turn into flame threads. By keeping them seperate, the minutes themselves aren’t surrounded for arguments. This is to keep historical documents looking all oficial. This is just an expieriment. Liam suggested the idea. Blame him!

I’m doing something a little different this time. If you want to comment on the Meeting Minutes, post in this thread. This way, the minutes will stay clean, and all debate/flaming will take place in a sepperate thread. If you don’t like this idea, blame Liam. :P

I’ll be there. Just out of curiosity: will I need to take minutes at the exec meeting?

There’s been concerns over vote stacking on IRC.

Bull*edited*. At one meeting, Fascist Flakes got enthusiastic about a tournament, and jokingly typed down its name a few times. A few corrupt individuals then accused him of vote stacking. If we are going to count the votes of a handful of the president’s friends who couldn’t make the meeting or irc, then we should count online voting.

It’s not a family or a business. It’s a club. We have to do what is popular. If anyone has a problem with the games that are being voted in, come to the meetings and support for what you vote for by going to the LANs.

If this is true, we should allow people to vote over irc. After all, if someone off-campus can vote on games, they are more likely to show up to the LAN. Also, at the last meeting, two people who were not at the meeting or irc ha their votes counted.

Imagine siting at your computer, when you hear the following comng from your TV:

“Here to discuss partial-birth abortion are Jack Sparrow, Princess Zelda, and Jesus Christ.”

That’s pretty much how I felt.

I presume we will be nominating games for the next LAN. Not sure what else. Maybe discuss where the next LAN will take place. I know there was some disagreements about that.
