Does anyone know, or can link me to a list of reasons why achievements will be reset? I shut down my tower on Wednesday, drove across the state to see my parents, log into my laptop and notice that my Tartan Spartan and a few other achievements reset. I have not idled since New Years when they last reset, and have only been playing in regular servers, no achievements/sploits maps.
Aside from the initial surprise, I do not care that much as it is a demo acheivement, and demos are for spamming tards, but I am still interested in a list of dos/don’ts
It is nothing valve did.
Its just some sort of glitch or unexplainable phenomenon.
Did you remove any tf2 files on your computer? Did you do a system restore? Any steam updates?

No to the first two, and steam updated on this comp prior to me logging in.’
Some guy who I play with said it was because I did not activate my steam cloud, but I think that’s BS.
All the questions I asked could be possible reasons why you may have lost the achievements. As MP said you can submit a ticket and they will probably be able to resolve it. However, I don’t know if I would even bother.

I agree. It really isn’t that big of a deal to me, I just wanted to know if I could prevent it in the future.
