Lets switch out “won’t let you” with “won’t allow you to”. Sounds more like a whippin’ boy this way.

I predict going entirely software will cripple the PSP game market once people figure out how to mimic sony’s server.

DUDE. GTA: Chinatown Wars is amazing.

PSP games are only in the 500-700 mb range. At least God Of War: CoO was…and the GTA stories games. Those were MASSIVE games in open world goodness.

I’ll stick with my God Of War edition red psp slim. kthx.

The fact that it was never released for PC in the first place is a travesty.

    It’s not odd at all….

Mac is meant to be run on a specific set of hardware approved and/or manufactured by Apple. Windows is designed to be universal. Apple does it that way to avoid driver issues. They use the best hardware and create their own drivers. Simple.

Apple’s have choice selection of hardware when you buy them. Choose between the latest ati/nvidia gpus, and the best intel cpu’s etc. There’s nothing for apple to refuse to make drivers for. They only make drivers for their own hardware, and it works better that way. They even make their own Windows drivers.

I have an 8 core mac pro with 16 gigs of FBDIMM ram and 2 video cards. It’s *edited* near silent…I really need to be listening to hear it. Apple’s going in the right direction:)

It is a flaw if vista doesn’t have a driver…but a flaw of the hardware manufacturer, and not of Vista. Apple has a good system going, IN FACT, it’s their entire marketing campaign. Works right out of the box, literally. No fumbling and wondering if things will work together, because with Mac, they just work.

Don’t get me wrong…I enjoy PC building:) It’s not like I’d ever use that hack job apple calls Boot Camp.

On a side note…I found a copy of cod4 for OSX…it looks every bit as good as the PC version. Runs a little faster too (in the sense that servers connect faster, maps load quicker, the game simply boots faster etc.). Goes to show you, if devs would make mac versions of things and quit worrying about these “consoles” and whatnot…computer gaming would kick more *edited*.

In closing, ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble, and ramble some more.

Jaunty is the smartest *edited*ing OS ive seen

It instantly understood and installed the drivers for my tablet which no windows/older linux/mac Os has done before

its flawless, the right click, the selecting, and the writing recognition…. god its wonderful.

Sorry to reply to an older post, but it needs to be addressed.

You can’t really put a Mac OS in that list of OS’ that are plagued by driver problems. OSX is designed and engineered for SPECIFIC hardware. Hack job OSx86 installs do NOT count.

Both my macs (macbook pro and mac pro) are great with peripherals. Great plug and play no driver needed support for any webcam, controller, usb headset, usb mic, usb soundcard, keyboard, or mouse i’ve thrown at it.

On another note, I love the way you all show a sense of “being slightly smarter” because you use/have used linux. Don’t worry, I was like that at first too. Than it became something I never use anymore, but don’t seem to wanna remove from my boot configuration.

Continue? You do know activision is just the publisher…right? They don’t “make” anything. Treyarch makes crappy CoD games (although IMO, the single player in CoD:WaW was kickass).

Activision has published all the best CoD games. 1, United Offensive, 2, 4. None of the duds are activisions doing. It’s all down to the developer, Treyarch.

However, because I’m such a CoD mark, I’ll continue to buy from both franchises (IW and Treyarch). PC versions only. They both make all around great games. WaW wasn’t at all a bad game, just poorly recieved because people fell in love with the modern aspect of 4.

HOWEVER, none of this matters. Modern Warfare 2, while being developed by Infinity Ward, is STILL being published by Activision (NTSC only), and is scheduled to be released in 2009. All the same…I just miss the days when CoD was a war game, as opposed to the tactical shooter of rainbow six like proportions it has become (not a bad thing…but i miss the golden age of CoD when it was all about killin me some dirty Nazi scum). One thing that disturbs me, however, is the fact that IW is using the PS3 as its lead platform instead of the PC like it’s always been. That means it’s going to be a PORT to the PC…….so I’m a little skeptical, as I haven’t seen a “good” console to pc port since GTA: San Andreas.

I’m curious right now to see the new Medal of Honor: Modern game.

Actually it’s being released in europe under the name “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2”. I think the Mod Warfare 2 name is more promotional for now.

I would also recommend this car. It’s low maintenance, gets over 300k miles, seats 4, good gas mileage, safe as a tank, but looks like a tank.

Goodfellas is a masterpiece…it’s amazing that Marty Scorcese didn’t win a Best Director award until “The Departed”…I mean it was good, and totally worthy of the award…but so was Goodfellas…Raging Bull….Casino…and Taxi Driver.
