looks promising

ParticipantActually it’s being released in europe under the name “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2”. I think the Mod Warfare 2 name is more promotional for now.

ParticipantThey aren’t supposed to be able to use CoD because Infinity Ward broke it off to make a spin off series. Expect many more sequels from what I’ve read. Activision will continue to make fail CoD WW2 games.

ParticipantContinue? You do know activision is just the publisher…right? They don’t “make” anything. Treyarch makes crappy CoD games (although IMO, the single player in CoD:WaW was kickass).
Activision has published all the best CoD games. 1, United Offensive, 2, 4. None of the duds are activisions doing. It’s all down to the developer, Treyarch.
However, because I’m such a CoD mark, I’ll continue to buy from both franchises (IW and Treyarch). PC versions only. They both make all around great games. WaW wasn’t at all a bad game, just poorly recieved because people fell in love with the modern aspect of 4.
HOWEVER, none of this matters. Modern Warfare 2, while being developed by Infinity Ward, is STILL being published by Activision (NTSC only), and is scheduled to be released in 2009. All the same…I just miss the days when CoD was a war game, as opposed to the tactical shooter of rainbow six like proportions it has become (not a bad thing…but i miss the golden age of CoD when it was all about killin me some dirty Nazi scum). One thing that disturbs me, however, is the fact that IW is using the PS3 as its lead platform instead of the PC like it’s always been. That means it’s going to be a PORT to the PC…….so I’m a little skeptical, as I haven’t seen a “good” console to pc port since GTA: San Andreas.
I’m curious right now to see the new Medal of Honor: Modern game.

Yea just like Steam and Valve
Valve pretty much makes it, and steam just releases and makes money.

Your point?
The main thing here is, it’s STILL a “CALL OF DUTY” game.
Why do you insist on adding little tidbits to (try to) make people feel like idiots? Check your attitude dude.

So what do you call reviving a 3 month death thread to win an argument?

It wasn’t to win an argument. Not sure where you got that idea. It was to “settle a debate”. My own words.

This is between ME and HIM. Arguing about the debate that is the difference between arguing and debating.
