Mostly scared for my own computer, its finicky, also I am not sure if the computer lab computers will run TF2, something we should definitely look into.

That is why I posted lol, I had noticed that this had never even been brought up.
I think the root of the problem was a lot of pent up frustration with some people, and this allowed them a venue to let it out, /shrug. I am glad they got it out of their system, we still are going to run the LAN as we normally would for now.
I am in full support for you guys doing this, to be honest I am terrified of it though. So if you want to do it you have my back up but I won’t be heading it for you
.Just as a little addition to this, no games were technically changed, there were several ties and I left it up to Shingi and Kaz-Ka to make a decision on how to handle those ties between games, the two games that were tied were Mario Kart Wii and Guitar Hero 3. They made their decision and did basically exactly what I told them to do, I am pretty proud of what they did. They saw an issue with the amount of games available for Mario Kart and acted on it.

Ah but that is where the problem ensues, your right it is extremely hard to catch someone “good” at hacking, therein lies the issue, we can’t just sit back and let them do it, eventually we have to step in and watch them like a hawk. And make a decision based on that, the reaction to the ban this time was something I did not expect and is most certainly pushed us over board. An intolerable attitude as what has been displayed is unacceptable in life and professional situations and so it will be here as well.
I was thinking of doing 2 xbox, 2 wiis, and 1 ps3 just to bring it in. But Ephraim is right this is something we can discuss in an executive meeting.
If you wanted you could opt to play SC4 on the PS3 instead of GoW or CoD4 since those two tied in votes, as I have said before though if people want to play PS3 then you have to show up and vote for the games and you can’t just bring 4 because you will be competing with Xbox players and that is just the way of the market.
That doesn’t mean I don’t have faith that any one of you couldnt do it, I just want to make sure you understand that it isn’t just a woops I forgot to do that job, you do need to take it somewhat seriously.
Even though it is true with some of you I don’t exactly see eye to eye, I really don’t think the server would be the same without you
Remember guys this is a pretty serious position, we are giving you a lot of control of one of our servers so it is very important that you take it seriously, I want to see someone very devoted to getting the population of our 1.6 server back to what it was. If 72 thousand-something people still play then somebody still likes to play it, lets just make sure they are interested in playing on our servers
