Still gonna lobby to have italy tactik removed as it is aids.

Anyways, new russka please kuros, this is a fairly popular map on the server that can be made better. Besides we change the map version, it ain’t that big of a deal, we fixed contra earlier this year and it’s fine now as well.

    http://www.cevo.com/?page=downloads&func=css

it can be downloaded from there.

Four maps I suggest we look at is de_villa, de_crane, de_season, de_cpl_strike. They are all pretty good. Maybe pick two of those.

    http://www.cevo.com/MAPS/contest/de_crane.rar

    http://www.teamwarfare.com/files/dl/CS/de_villa.rar

    http://www.fpsbanana.com/mirrors/startdl/9…106&ext=rar

    ftp://ftp.caleague.com/league_cs/de_cpl_strike.zip

If you are gonna make the argument that we have too many custom maps take a look at these first, they are played competetively and are far and away from the typical *edited* you find with custom maps cough cough* italy tactik cough

Dice, try and pick something better than awp_garden, I’ve looked it over and it seems kinda lame. I imagine there is an awp map out there with a better central dynamic than line up and shoot civil war style.

I’m out for the weekend, heading home.

aye a highlights vid from the lan would be cool. renton’s triple shotty on contra, my narrow 11hp versus 6 people escape on inferno, falcon’s knife, flakes streaks, would be pretty swell

    Alrighty then. <_<

Next time we add maps to the server let’s please discuss them first.

Dustanesi is CT sided as hell, they are practically in your spawn before you are out of it. If we are going to get *edited*ed at the lan over map choices like aztec on 1.6 then why the hell are we even putting it in here for regular play.

Italy Tactik has the same problems we foresaw with desert_atrocity it last too long with a few number of people because they can’t find em

Playground is just *edited*ing stupid for source, I love it in 1.6 but it just doesn’t seem to work as well here. I’m tired of jumping off to escape only to die because I take 40 damage from falling 10-15 feet.

cpl_fire is really really solid in pubs, it’s a slow map in scrims and fast in pubs and still pretty even.

I think the top two can be replaced with much success by de_villa. I will look for a good fy and awp map to replace playground and subzero with. The latter is kinda too static.

Restrospective comments and questions: What do yall think about corse? I really like strata wish it was played more. Russka is ballin as well, mostly cus I’ve only played it twice on the server, went 43-2 one of those times.

I thought I had a pic of dice getting knifed by falcon at the lan, by far the funniest moment.

I don’t exactly see the amendment about kip being a bad things. imo it’s adds character and some personal history to the club. More like “lawl he’s the guy who likes kip from napolean dynamite. I think of it more as an inside joke that will help things preserve.” Being too formal and divorcing the club from having any personality will kind dampen the spirit of the community. Maybe my argument here is reaching just a bit too far and exaggerating, but I think the same can be said of claiming that it makes a joke of our club.

I remember playing Old Turkey 110 proof Whiskey Golf the day 300 came out. Got through nine holes and like 12 shots of whiskey adn quit and had a golf cart race to the club house, then left, drove home and we all flipped off one of those retarded kid buses. We all had a day of manliness with pizza, and brauts, and beers, and womens after that. Then we watched 300 and it was kind of a let down, then we went and saw someone get stabbed on one of our forays into the ghetto. Fun times.

Master P, have you ever played with Cal’s ACS? It works pretty *edited* good actually, to the point it can tell if you are using a ringer or not. It won’t let you log onto it if you are using an injection hack either so I doubt it missed an aimbot as old as one that still spins you around. Additionally it works much like VAC with the delay in banning, take team Movedown for instance, at the end of the regular season they had everyone of their matches over turned before the calculations for playoffs was done. That’s beside the point, you couldn’t use it even if you did download it, it can only be used for matches you are scheduled in.
