Spectatorwill tf2 be available w/o the expensive orange box?
September 15, 2007 at 2:34 pm #26848Fascist Flakes (Jagr)
SpectatorTF2 alone is like $30. The better deal is obviously to get the Orange Box and probably to just buy the actual game in stores, as it’ll come with multiple CD’s for the multiple games, and you can just save the CD Key for HL2, Ep1, etc in-case you lose HL2 or something.

SpectatorDoes anyone know if I would be able to run TF2, even on lowest settings, with a laptop with this…
Intel Pentium M Processor 2.00GHz
Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 900
ATI Mobility Radeon X300 64MB
1GB of RAM
I don’t know much about computers btw

Probably be pushing your luck. It’s gonna be slightly more graphics intensive than CS:S.
September 16, 2007 at 10:39 pm #26916ZoSo
SpectatorValve says it is the most graphical intense Source game ever released.
September 17, 2007 at 12:26 am #26920Kuros
SpectatorIt only takes slightly more to be the most intensive.

SpectatorWhat aren’t you up to par with? I’m guessing video card?
If it is video card you have to look at a few things:
A) How old is your PC?
B ) Does your motherboard have PCIe or does it only have AGP?
C) If it has AGP, you may need to look at a new motherboard which may ensue you getting new RAM as well as a new processor, which basically means you just getting a new computer. Many companies are not producing AGP video cards anymore but you can still find some few and far between. You’re mainly wanting to get a PCI-Express 16 card, in which you can buy something as simple as the 8800GTS for ~$300. If your motherboard has PCIe then I suggest the 8800GTS

SpectatorI tore down that bear last year….and believe me it is a bear, you think all you need to do is replace one thing, and then one thing leads to another and your pregnant, I mean you end up buying more than you meant to.

September 20, 2007 at 2:57 pm #27217Brian
SpectatorMost likely. We will probably have five servers sometime before the end of the year. cs1.6, css, tf2, quakewars,ut3.

SpectatorIts an RTS, a revolutionary RTS, but still an RTS, and I don’t think we have the community for it yet…. Unfortunately
