Sorry if you guys have seen this already. I don’t play WoW, so I’m not up-to-date on WoW-related shiet.
To humor the “it’s part of the game argument,” those people should learn how to dodge bullets and buy while they run. IT’S PART OF THE GAME.
Then don’t put in the mod for spawn killing. It’s part of the game for people to learn how to aim fast — kill or be killed — or be ready to move as soon as the round starts. Why penalize the people who are capable of awping quickly?

I don’t think snow should go after dust2. Both of them are good at bringing people in. I’d say put it between aztec and cbble (and I took out office from here, sadface).

Every other map is pretty good at keeping people in the server. Inferno and d2 are pretty popular, people like to play snow cuz it’s short and the rounds are quick (and some other noob reasons, like spam and it raises their rank), and who doesn’t like awp map, besides people who suck?

I don’t mind not having freezetime on any maps, but I think it should only be taken out on the custom maps so it helps to prevent spawn killing. In regular maps, it gives the noobs a few seconds to buy and not have to worry about people with scripts, or who just buy fast, rushing them before they can get out of spawn. I mean, I know it still happens, but it gives them a chance.
NOOOO, MY OFFICE<333. Office needs to go between two popular maps, so that noobs will have something to look forward to after office, or at least between one popular one and one fairly popular one (but one that doesn’t kill the server, like cbble or piranesi, although both are awesome, imo). If you put it before aztec, although aztec’s not really unpopular, the population does dwindle sometimes and having it after office won’t really help, especially in the evening/late at night.
Maps like dust2 and inferno need to be spaced out so, like I said before, people will have something to look forward to playing when they play the less popular maps. If you look at the rotation that herbal put together for the server (in my sig), he used d2 and inferno a few times and put like three less popular (but decent) maps between them to try to keep the population steady, but add some variety.
I haven’t played on the server with awp_map on the rotation yet, but if freezetime is on there, please disable it. I know it was an issue in the past and I asked Liam to remove it and he did. I don’t know if that’s still the same as it was before, but I’m just throwing this out there just in case. ;P

Srsly. When I’m able to play, I’m just spam everyone who plays or has played in the 1.6 server.

Not only was it not set as the default skin, but I just wasn’t able to view it on the list of skins at all (check my screenshot in my previous post).

In the old skin, it had this on the bottom of the thread. I use those, too. I once requested to have this put back another time the skin was changed, I think.

I started using toranky on and off last year cuz that’s what Zoidy calls me and people have an easier time saying toranky than torankusu.

Also, I’ve posted this in the past, but sometime last year, Liam changed /me so that it only displayed your dmg when you were dead, so people couldn’t abuse it (like spamming or throwing nades and then using /me to see if they’re hitting anyone). Months ago (but sometime this year) when the server was being worked on or something, /me somehow got reversed and now it will allow you to view dmg when you’re ALIVE, but it shows 0 when you’re dead. Could this be corrected? Thanks!

toranky was on yesterday night periodically from 6pm til like midnight. i played on the server around midnight and i saw 4 other admins on too.
Honestly, I was on for 5-6 hours straight, rofl. There was nothing periodic about the binge CSing I did last night.

I haven’t really been playing much since the beginning of the year, though. I have sessions like this, though, where I’ll play for a while. GOTTA MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME, lulz.

BTW I don’t think this was mentioned, but I think tiggz is referencing the weekdays when there has been no admins on period. Some kid was throwing around racist terms loosely when tiggz and I were on server one night this past week. I told tiggz to handle it not knowing he wasn’t an admin anymore and he got all sassy with me telling me to go find an admin that can. LOL
Luckily Frady is on a lot so that will be somewhat remedied, but one admin can’t do all the work there needs to be a team effort… ON WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS! :/
