I’ve been getting the same thing lately. My cs doesn’t always crash after though. Did you check if it’s just our server? Or does it happen when you join other servers as well?

I think we are lacking a fun variety of maps. The regular maps are solid, prodigy maybe for vertigo, but I don’t those little changes will bring the pop back up. A couple of key customs would definitely freshen up the server temporarily at least. Also it’s a small map, so downloading it shouldn’t be to much of a hassle, and the size of it makes for quick intense rounds with minimal camping.
another map that I miss:
oilrig – this map is annoying when overplayed, but 10-15 minutes every once and a while can’t be bad

It gives an unfair advantage because not everyone can do it. Me included =(
LEGIT reasons for why it’s banned:
-Not everyone can do it
-It is stealthier than running, yet makes you faster than running, making it again unfair
-In maps like Dust2 where you can get some speed, makes it hard to shoot the hoppers
-I can’t do it
-It could potentially give you Arthritis in Real Life.

also to note, the boomer has music before you spawn, so do the others. His is the most noticeable though, the deep step bass sound.

At first I was joking, shed off your little rude remarks and conceded notions of how to properly run a server.
What I was implying was this:
its not realistic to give online volunteers, which is what admins are, scheduled or set hours. It just can’t happen. We are all in college and our lives are already busy. I am sorry if I seemed to shed your opinion off in the very beginning, but I honestly don’t think 28 admins are to many. I personally have been on with at most 4 admins at a time. If you were offended by my sarcasm I am sorry again, but that’s just how I communicate on the forums, I will try to be more SERIOUS for you.
back to the argument:
other than not being realistic for admins to come on at certain times, execs and higher up’s also have lives that are already busy as hell. Your solution to this is to add a “times played” on the app, but that doesn’t solve the problem you are crying about, the one where you say we have too many admin. I think it’s a great idea, but you can’t with the current ones. And I still think there is a comfortable amount of admin, especially since a great majority are tempered gamers.
We have in the past, as you might remember, tried having a reserved admin powers for the top 3 ranking admin/execs. It worked out okay, and I never minded it, but I don’t make the rules here I just promote them.
And don’t try and pull the Adam card. We all know him, and love him, but that has nothing to do with what is going on right now. There is a difference between respecting your elders and letting them pass, and I think its time you passed.
ALSO, Liam checked all the 28 admins, and they are all active, which is not a bad thing. Having active admins who haven’t abused ANY sort of power is a GREAT thing. Also we have this 3 strikes policy, where if any admin does get out of line will get punished accordingly. Having more admin on to patrol each other is a great way to ensure that abuse is kept to 0.
In response to what Briefs said, I have never been on when there was more than at most 3 or 4 admins on. And you know why I enjoy that many admins? Because I can play, knowing there are other eyes watching other than my own.
You should act what you preach. You say its funny how people just wave off your thoughts, kinda like you waved my thoughts off. I may not be to bright, but I am pretty sure that’s called a Hypocrite.
So please don’t be rude and call me a retard or dumbass. It really hurts my feelings and/or entices me to post more and more.

I think changing things up in general is a good thing though. I mean this game needs a little sprucing up every once in a while. It’s like flavors of ice cream. Sometimes you want vanilla, sometimes you crave chocolate. Except RTV in this case tastes like booger flavored ice cream instead of the good stuff.

And if there ever is a big complication, very rare, then we hit up IRC chat.
And Drug, I don’t mind being called a retard, but the reason I asked you to pay me, is because you want me to whipe your *edited* and feed you with a silver spoon.

so you came in when a lot of admins wanted to play. What is wrong with that? You act like this is a controllable thing. Like we should have an admin schedule. If you want to manage all that and pay my salary along with all the other admins salaries for working on and off common times, then by all means I am open.

Okay i have an obvious solution that might work.
Why not make the maps that pop on the RTV list, be maps that are NOT on the rotation. This way, we don’t end up voting snow or de_dust2 and get it a million times in a row.
A lot of video gamers have chronic Attention Deficit, so of course they are going to be quick to use any sort of leverage to vote a map that can satisfy their short attention spans for 20 minutes.
Way to many admins my Aye Es Ess. Tell me, if there are way to many admins, why do I get pm’s frequently during the week from people asking me to come get rid of he/she or asking for help in the server because there aren’t any admins around.
It’s better to have a decent number so you have at least 1 in the server as often as possible.
