I wasn’t talking about low gravity, I was talking about air strafing. Way to dodge the argument.

Try connecting to a VAC server in HL2DM or DoDS. Alternatively you can try TF2 or L4D although they are a different engine and the problem may not be affecting them.
If you have the problem in the other games listed above:
1. Turn off ALL firewalls
2. Set router to DMZ your port/IP/MAC
3. Disable all proxies
4. Do a complete uninstall of Steam and manually delete all remaining files (save your configs)
5. Reinstall CSS ONLY and try to connect to a VAC server

He’ll be the whipping boy until the democrats get a clue and start actually fixing things. Until then they’re going to blame all our problems, even those created by Obama himself, on Bush because it’s easier than accepting that Obama doesn’t have any more of a clue than Bush did about the economy. He hasn’t even filled his entire administration yet and the department missing the most officials is the one that deals with the economy.
I would take Bush’s decisiveness, even mis/unguided, over Obama’s unwillingness to take action. You always hear about what he’s going to do, not what he has done and with Bush it always seemed like the exact opposite. Regardless of whether you agreed with his decisions or not, when Bush said he was going to do something he did it. And quickly.
What server were you on? If we could find out what they’re using we could install it on our own server.
By your logic Obama wouldn’t help you get back up unless you hated the Constitution or white people enough.
Add me to your steamfriends and I’ll look into any issues you might have had.
Me and the server logs are the best of friends.

and does L4D have admins?We can’t use an admin plugin on Left4Dead right now. Sourcemod conflicts with the matchmaking system and prevents the server from being populated from player lobbies or showing in the steamgroups list.
Right now, the only admins are Nickname and myself as we both have RCON to the server.

This is probably pomething Kaz-ka has never seen as it was discussed entirely with the previous administration and never put in place by them. Springing it on him now is a little unfair IMO.
But to be honest, we’ve got alot more financial oversight in place now than we had under Bitey and I’m not sure such a system is even needed.
He didn’t read the admin requirements so we should rephrase them?
People aren’t going to read the requirements no matter how well you word them or where you put them.

Also remember that I will never punish or flame you for calling out a problem you think a server is having so long as it is legitimately a problem.
For example:
Problem: server exploit
Problem: decoy sprays
Not a Problem: poor registry with a 200 ping and 50 choke
Decoy sprays were discussed a while back and the general consensus was they should be allowed.
We can revisit this if there’s enough call to but I hate to make policy based on 1 single player’s spray. 99.99% of decoy sprays are absolutely terrible and can be easily seen as a spray.

The people that work the desk have a horrible reputation of screwing the club, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. We have just as much right to banner space as everyone else and if you notice an empty spot tell them you want our banner there or you’re emailing Keith Corzine and telling him the UC staff is refusing to put it up. Roll some heads, it’s how you get stuff done.
