I don’t think thats why its died. For as long as I can remember, we played some pretty weird maps, and we usually had a pretty full server while playing them.
No, when just about everyone has an awp, its still the same map, just with awps. If you can’t adjust to how people are playing, you shouldn’t be playing. The only time this would ever be a problem is on aztec and cbble. If the entire team has awps on nuke, you don’t go outside. If they all have awps on dust2, don’t float around in mid or push long A. You have smokes and flashes, use them wisely. Don’t just waste them.
Restricting awps because you can’t play the game is stupid. If the awper has distance on you, don’t test him. Simple as that. You have smokes and flashes, use them.
I read what you said sticky and I do agree with what you’re saying for the most part. The thing about having a rotation that is filled with lots of dust2, inferno, nuke, etc is that while you and the regulars might get tired of playing them all the time, from what I’ve seen in the server, we don’t have that many regulars playing anymore. Half the server is usually filled with complete randoms, who would leave if you went to a less popular map. I honestly have no problem playing the popular de_maps if that means we have a relatively full server.
I also think we should try to incorporate more maps into the rotation though. We seem to be doing good for now, but I doubt it would last. I don’t think having regulars list 3 maps, no more or no less would be a good way to fix the rotation. I don’t think even half of the regulars use the forums, so thats why I don’t think its a good idea.
Appstate pulled off playing maps like fullallinone, deagle5, 12gaugecage, de_wallmart and stuff like that because when you joined the server, you knew like 90% of the people in there at any given time. You can’t expect people to play those kinds of maps right away. I don’t think we have enough loyal regulars at the moment to try maps like that. In App people sticked around for maps they wouldn’t normally play because of the environment. Everyone was talking on their mics, laughing and having a good time. That’s not the case anymore.
I have pretty bad gear haha. I’ll take a screenshot of /played. I can only tank heroics.
I started that pally in the summer, got to 70 and just did bg’s. By the time I hit 70 everyone was just farming gold and *edited* for LK, no one really raided anymore.

Alright so heres my theory!
Acidak loses admin a while back and reapplies. He is denied admin because he hasn’t shown maturity and skill in CS. First thing he does is make a thread about banning someone with no recoil. Now what he does here is download some hacks, get a decent score going, turn them off and then take a screenshot to make him look like he has the skill to become an admin. But this is just a subtle move, under the cover of a thread about a possible problem with the physcostats in the 1.6 server.

I love Oblivion, its so much fun! But I can never beat it. I pick it up, get really far and then quit for a year.
I completely forgot about POP and Mass Effect. I am going to have to check those out as well.
I’ve played and beaten the Halo series. I’m thinking about getting CoD5, but I dunno. I played it a friends, its pretty good. But I don’t see myself playing it for too long haha. I also played Assassins Creed waaaaay too much. Running around the cities just destroying people was amazing. My brother plans on getting it on boxing day as well, so I don’t need to pick er’ up.
