i think that it depends on the voting system. if it has something that keeps a map from being played within the last 5 or 6 maps, and if the voting system gives out “bad” maps then it is our fault. because we put the maps in the hat so to speak. the voting system can only put an option to vote for maps that we say basicly. if prodigy isn’t in the “hat” then the voting plugin can’t put up prodigy as a vote. get it?And that’s exactly how it will be working.

Whether or not a map is “good” or “bad” is often a persons opinion. Why is your opinion any more important than anyone elses? Give them a choice instead of shoving your opinion down their throat, and yes, before you go there, I am aware you did a poll. I’m also aware that the majority of the regulars on the 1.6 server dont visit these forums so its not really accurate.

A voting plugin gives people the dynamic option to make a choice and it will keep maps from being repetitively voted on over and over. A rotation is just that, a rotation.
People come to like some maps and not others. They learn when they are and leave till they’re over. Voting at least gives the majority the option to pick what they want to play.

Wine doesn’t work well for windows emulation on things like that. There’s another one out there, you have to pay for it, but its the best.

I will get it done but before I do that I’m going to finish the plugin I’m writing which is massive. I’m almost done with it though and I’m seeing light at the end of the tunnel thank god.

PM5, Yup. It is painful and I can’t feel the tips of my fingers on some days. Mines mostly from the mass amounts of coding I’ve done over the last few years. One thing that definately helps is moving from a flat/straight keyboard to a raised ergonomic keyboard. Microsoft has a *edited* good and comfortable one that I’ve been using and it helps a lot.
