I have no idea what the hell that means. Back to E3:

It looks like the rest of this year is going to be pretty tough for Nintendo. They’ve gone through all their major series, so they aren’t going to have any really big titles for quite a while. Wii Sports is not Zelda. I’m still going to get a few DS titles by year’s end, though.

Wow, this has been a disaster. Sorry, let’s try it again:

    4. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, deadpool

    5. Batman Forever, DeviantSyntax

    6. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, metric

Its good they are only brutalities, it is against the very fabric of DCU for their characters to kill. Batman is the only one I am aware of that ever did and he had no other choice in the circumstance.

Balderdash! One of the most disturbing things about modern comics is how they combine the murderous, grim-and-gritty villains with the naive notions that heroes can never kill and villains can escape custody with minimal explaination. If villains can’t be killed or held, they can never be punished. I don’t think heros should go around killing villains willy-nilly, but it is appropriate in certain situations. If Batman had killed the Joker after it became obvious he could never be held in a prison or asylum, countless innocents would have been spared.

In short, it would be fun to see Superman crush Sub-Zero’s head.

I loves me some 2fort. Hydro has its moments. Can’t stand badlands.

There are some custom maps that I really enjoy. Some good custom maps can convince me to put a server on my favorites list.

I think the pics I took were too obscure. I’ll do better next time. You can post your own, folks!

    Everybody loves hints:

    1. Action film.

    2. Boxing film.

    3. “My hovercraft is full of eels.”

I looked it up and it turns out Samuel L. Jackson was in two of these movies. He died in one.

    Short response:

    Suck it, Joel Shumacher.

    Long response:

What an excellent movie. It was ten pounds of awesome in a five-pound bag. I would not say that it was better or worse than Batman Begins, because there’s no need to put them in competition with each other. Taken together, they form the best Batman movie series ever made. It’s better than the Burton series, and (needless to say) way better then the Shumacher series. I do believe Dark Knight was significantly darker than Batman Begins, which I didn’t know was even possible. Judging from the ending, the third one might be even darker.

The Joker was fascinating to watch. Heath Ledger could act like a pro and the fact that a dead man was playing a villainous clown on screen made the character even freakier. The two ways to play the Joker are harmless prankster and murderous sociopath. Dark Knight took the latter method about as far as it can go. I thought it was interesting that they never really dealt with the Joker’s origins. They were probably trying to make him more of a presence than a human. This was a wise move. I never cared for the proposed Joker origin stories. He’s just the Joker. I wonder how his absence in the next movie will be explained.

Everybody has been talking about how impressive the Joker is, but I was surprised at how well Harvey Dent was played. It’s rare that depictions of the character go much further than Two-Face, but a combination of good writing ad Aaron Eckhart ‘s skilled acting made the pre-scarred Dent really interesting and admirable. I kept forgetting that he was going to into Two-Face. This was probably the most horrifying depiction of Two-Face I’ve ever seen. The character is usually seen with some discolored skin and weird hair, but this time, the damage actually reached the bone. I was surprised to see him get killed off, because I thought he would end up being the main villain in the third movie.

All in all, greatness. If I were to complain about anything, it would be that there should have been more scenes with Batman in action. I know there were quite a few action scenes, and time had to be dedicated to developing the new characters, but Bruce Wayne was out of costume a little too much. Still, it was wonderful.

Dammit! I will not let this thread die so easily! I doubt I can get away with more than two of these a year. Here are some hints:

    1. Alright, look at the jello. Think, “how could this be used dramatically?”

    2. The film featured Samuel L. Jackson. The grab was from the first minute of the movie.

    3. The woman will be followed through the door by a man.

I know a few people who would claim it is. Sad, sad people.

If you watch the end of the video, the kid asks the viewers to vote on his armor’s color. This was a big mistake. I’m sure it will end up being pink. Serve’s him right for forgetting to make a grav hammer.

Oh, and just to get back on topic:

I don’t have any siblings, but I have some cousins who seem to be great at everything. I’ve always found it weird how their parents have pushed them to be the best at absolutely everything they attempt, and while they’ve both gotten into really elite colleges, I don’t think it’s right to teach your kids from a young age that it’s wrong to fail at anything. Personally, I’m more of the “*edited* it, I managed to get into the honors college; I must be doing something right” variety.

I will admit that the DHS has some problems. When the next plane blows up (knock-knock-knock) it won’t be the doing of a little old lately smugling a plastic explosive in a tube of toothpaste. I flew earlier this week. One of the folks at the gates looked through my bag and found some toothpaste. She shook her head and made a sound like “Uh-uh-uh.” She confiscated the tube and gave me back my bag. My inner-smartass wanted to say “praise allah most high” before leaving, but I decided it would be better to reach my location that day.

Liam, please change Kip’s display name to Captain Buzzkill.

    The opening.

    The walkthrough.

My prediction for the ending: Mega Man reaches the end of Dr. Light’s castle, then Dr. Wily reveals he was behind the whole thing. Next, Mega Man reaches the end of Dr. Wily’s castle (which looks like a skull) and beats Dr. Wily. Call it

    hunch.
