Wait. What’s the difference between a hipogryf and a griffin? I think hipogryfs are more eagle than lion and griffins are the other way round.

It looks like an underdeveloped hipogryf. Just needs some wings.

The video was funny, but I’m still going to buy most of those games, and they’ll probably be great. I’m rarely disappointed with my purchases.

i will say that a couple of his reviews got me to WTF… but he’s generally been on point esp. with the halo 3 one lol

Nah. The Halo 3 review was where a lot of these ridiculous arguments originated. It was funny, but did not count as a legitimate review. He barely mentioned multiplayer (the most popular feature of the series) because he “didn’t care about it.” Imagine a music magazine reviewer going to an AC/DC concert. Now imagine that reviewer writing an article about how the opening act was decent, but only mentioning AC/DC in the last paragraph because he “doesn’t really get them.” He would be fired. The same principal applies to the Halo 3 review.

The MOH review got me arguing with a caveman-looking loser about politics. It was like a whole new universe of stupid. Sorry to get off topic. Just remembering that fat, hairy idiot makes me want to punch something.

I thought Yahtzee’s first few reviews were funny (if flawed), but I stopped watching after his absolutely aweful Medal of Honor review. I’ve had some weird arguments with stupid people about this guy.

Looks like I have better taste than Bitey and Urban. Nya nya.

I thought the vaguely sexual reference felt kind of out of place, but it didn’t stop the video from being really cool. That ending is the best ever. She just smiles and bows. It’s like fighting off those zombies was no more important than bringing her employer a cup of coffee. Ha! Win.

For the record: most of the comments I’ve read about the artical have been very possitive. I guess the writing only seems bad if you disagree with the message.

Anyone here seen “How Clean is Your House?” There was this one episode where this guy had mushrooms growing in his bathroom.

So, Mega Man 9 will feature the first female robot master and the new Castlevania will feature a female main playable character. This fall, rule 34 will be in full display.

If you are trying to compare WWII-era propaganda to this satire about the Obama campagn, the only response I can think of is “Whaaaa–?” Propaganda uses religous imagery to persuade; satire uses religious imagery to make fun of those doing the persuading. They have opposite purposes, so it is illogical to act like they are one-and-the-same. Bottom line: It’s a joke. Don’t take it so seriously.

Also, I like Top Gear, but I’m more partial towards Bargain Hunt.

It wasn’t propaganda; it was satire. I thought it was clever and well written.
