Its coming out next week and its going to be awesome! Anyone else out there have a reserve on this game?
I’ve never played any of the Soul Calibur games, but I think it’s cool that Darth Vader and Yoda are playable characters in different versions. If I were to suggest guest characters in the next game, they would be Space Ghost and Birdman. I would probably buy the game for them.

I wasn’t dissing the birdman, I was saying Ephraim watches too much adult swim.
And yeah I think any guest characters are kinda inappropriate but it is fun to see them in that aspect of the world, I mean I want to see an epic clash of Darth Vader VS Mitsurugi.
I don’t watch too much Adult Swim. I just think it would be funny to see Space Ghost beating some up. Maybe the Ninja Turtles would be cool.
I think its pretty obvious who my favorite character is cough*CERVANTES OWNS ALL*cough lol. And as far as guest characters go, I think Link has been the most approriate one so far.

Well i went a head and bought the game against my better judgement…Its OK and thats all it is…Its nothing like it was described and the online sucks….but I will play it i guess
Honestly I love it and can’t wait to see if its at the LAN and if so how many people show up for it.
yea, same here. I’m having it as a playable game at my smash event this saturday. Its the PS3 version though. the control layout is the same as the 360 so using the ps3 controller isn’t different at all/

I was really hoping for an SC4 tournament at the upcoming lan, but oh well. Hopefully we can get it in next time. I’ll still look forward to playing it every Saturday until then.

Its still not too late to hold a SC4 tournament at the LAN to be honest. The Smash tournaments were first thrown together at the LAN. Get someone to run it and put together the people, have an exec call it out on the mic and then have everyone sign up on a piece of paper, draw up brackets, etc. I’m sure many people actually want to play and would love to play in a tournament, the only downside is that the club wouldn’t be able to give any prizes for it as it isn’t a club supported tournament yet. If you draw enough people, it very well could turn out to become one though

Yea, I might actually see about doing that since it recived a good amount of vote at the meeting last week.
I know we’ve run as many as 7 tournaments on the console side before, it’s just that sometimes things overrun or people don’t show up or people want to play in a tournament last second sort of deal. I think if we’re a little more stern on when we start and when we finish and tell people tough luck if they didn’t get in, we’d be able to squeeze in more.
