Geteeffoh its not your right to dispute someone else’s ban. Sorry but as far as i was concerned it was racism .. I told urban to do everything in his power to make the people see the light.
What are you disputing here? Urbans admin .. or someones ban. I am getting confused. I think you could have talked to urban about this.
Like Dice said .. we don’t need the drama, and you were not concerned in the act of Urban Vs the player. You were just a spectator .. if he feels the need let him post .. if the log said he singled out a person in the server .. then he wont be unbanned.

Who was complaining about the pictures? Was it one of ours? Next time that happens give me the camera ill fix that. The warning signs are a good idea, but we can just make them sign a disclaimer. Actually a disclaimer might be a good idea, because of all all the computers there. Something that states “we are not responsible for your computers” think of what would happen if we had a power jump ..,.. I know it sounds like a *edited* thing to do, but think about it we dont have that kind of money.

I am a CIS major out of school. Dr. Richmond, and Dr. White and WCU in the CIS department are some of if not the best professors at WCU. CIS is the major to be in if you ask me.

We have done ventrillo meetings in the past. They worked out well and we actually wrote them in the constitution. I have always favored vent. Its just hard to get everyone setup.

We have always allowed custom skins at our lans and such. Nodice has a hard drive FULL of skins for all types of hl mod games. I dont see why we should force it on clients.
Dont force client rates. Your only going to *edited* tweakers who pay the extra money for the good connection
If you guys want to lower the pings and speed the performance of the CSS server up there are other ways that work 10x better than ingame stuff.
I know you may think this is stupid, but if you spin up a ut2004 server on its default port and wait 5 mins you will see a ping difference on every server that is HL mod drivengame, I know it works on CS 1.6 which is why I kept UT2004 running even if nobody played.
everything cs should be fine, Someone check the custom server and make sure its 32 man compliant
Zach when you get a moment we need to make sure all the maps on the cs servers are 32 man compliant and if need we can research or ask Amerrill how to add spawn points.

So that we dont have any confusion about how the gaming club gets the tasks like the power and the networking. I would say its fair for you guys to talk about the power not being hooked up in time. To my knowledge we pay for that service. BUT the networking issues was not something that you guys should complain about. (I didnt see any huge problems that werent delt with in a timely fashion) and the delivery of the device was a timeframe we agreed to because the service that the IT provides is free and at their will. I think you guys should rethink your thoughts about how you speak of them and respect that they too have lives and are going out of their way to help us make this stuff happen. If I were you i would be sending them a thank you email personally, not putting them at fault for a minor alteration of your schedule. If you didnt know they prolly have already read this thread.
If you really think it was that huge of a problem. You could easily replace all those switches in there for about 60,000$ dollars. Im sure we have that laying around. (before someone says thats too much) remember your not incontrol of the network in the first place. they are. We are guests in their house.
I never said I agree with everything that ITS does and some standing issues with them about this club, but I know that the guys that come out to help with the lan do this on their time, not 8-5.
MasterP I understand how you feel, but when you are elected to a position that puts you in standings to “KEEP THE PEACE” you have a different stand on opinions. You simply do what is best for the club. Kuros does have an opinion .. but we all know this forum thread is a joke and I truly think that alot of the source players are coming in the 1.6 thread to recruit people over so that they can have more people to play with. Which is fine by me, but dont bash the game. Well its all a joke anyway right MasterP? I mean .. really both games are good games right? My opinion as the founder of the gaming club is that the more you oppose any game that they gaming club plays the less games you will be hosting in the end and the more people you will have opposing you simply because of how you feel about the game .. The only game I have an opinion about is WOW. But we cant host that game. Plus I love getting into discussions with Kuros about what is better 1.6 and CSS because he is so gullible and defensive. With the underlying thought that in the past it has been commented to take 1.6 off of our hosting games I think we are all allowed to defend it in anyway possible to keep the game in the rotation.
Summ up what i said for people like me..
Dont post in the 1.6 thread your comments about how bad it is.. We dont care.. thats a random thread topic.
Sigh .. this has got to be the most worthless thread ever created on our forums. Honestly .. someone says source is better .. alot more say 1.6 is better .. Its not like your going to get either party to play the game. Why dont we all team up on WOW.. were all basicly playing the same game ..
