Participantyou guys need to make it so people like me could call in and you would all be around a big conferance table with me on speaker. or maybe make it a conferance call with people that don’t live nearby but still care about the club =)

Participantwispy i’ve been here a while but just pm me. i dont wanna get yelled at lol
October 9, 2007 at 12:08 pm #28091Ashley Faulkner
ParticipantActually, Urban had a good idea. Doing a conference call wouldn’t be a bad idea, if you think about it, that way you could include your advisors and executives that can’t be in attendance but need to be included. You guys should think more on the idea.
But this should ONLY be for people that hold a executive level position in the club, that way you don’t have to stop your meeting because let’s say I wanted to say something. I’m not an executive (I’m counted as one, but I’m not one) thus you don’t have to allow all members who are not WCU Students or Alumni to use the Conference Call.

Participantbut you have to let me be in it cause i thought of the idea. (altough i told you guys it last year and you guys chose to ignore me =( )
and if im not in it then it wont be cool =)

Participantwe did hold one vent meeting in the beginning with about 25ish ppl… it was fairly sucessful, but its just better to talk in person
October 10, 2007 at 2:02 pm #28165Ashley Faulkner
ParticipantThat is more along the lines of what I meant, obviously you can not do a conference call, as it would be expensive, but using Vent is a good idea.
October 16, 2007 at 10:21 am #28483
Adam FaulknerParticipantWe have done ventrillo meetings in the past. They worked out well and we actually wrote them in the constitution. I have always favored vent. Its just hard to get everyone setup.

ParticipantEspecially when you can’t connect to it because one of the addresses don’t work.
October 16, 2007 at 1:32 pm #28523Ashley Faulkner
ParticipantDon’t believe that has ever been an issue before…
October 16, 2007 at 1:39 pm #28525Fascist Flakes (Jagr)
ParticipantIt has happened to myself as well as others several times in the past. The vent.teamexforce.com port 3796 address will not connect, saying the Domain/DNS is incorrect. I’ve told Adam this before over the summer and he gave me another address to connect to the Vent server with and worked, but have lost that info since my upgrade and format.
October 16, 2007 at 1:51 pm #28529
Adam FaulknerParticipantvoice-va.planetgameservers.com 3796 that dns will never go down.
You can ping it and get the ip. The ip will not change either.

October 16, 2007 at 4:42 pm #28560Ashley Faulkner
ParticipantAll of the above, planning for the Next LAN, discussing the last LAN, and club business is always very important. Let us not forget to vote to remove that line from the constitution. Thanks.
October 16, 2007 at 4:45 pm #28561Bitey
ParticipantHow about we vote to make Mitchell Pate a title, and not just a name?
October 16, 2007 at 7:01 pm #28571Nickname
Participantwell I can bet that the meeting will also mention something about a TF2 council leader…
