If we had a 24/7 sk server we would have to put it on rotation between like sk regular, sk3, and something else imo.
Also it wouldn’t be quite as fun as you would get a whole new and different crowd in there, the kind that frequents SK and nothing else. They would own us? Do we really want that frustration? It may make two communities here, and well SK only people tend to be really really obnoxious.
Gungame however would be pretty sweet, if there was a regular scoreboard and stats particular to the game type that could be pretty cool. Knifepro mode, triple leveling mario mode, 1 gun kill but regular round setup progressing up to nade level and then knife level. I definitely support that.
And hell if we can get a sophisticated version of cs juggernaut going, that would be sweet, maybe if make it so that we T’s have to defend the hostages from whoever is the juggernaut?
Dude, if we do something to get it where the T model is a zombie or demon of the sorts they have in the zombie servers, that would be balling. Anyone think the p90 is too deadly?
I think health should be directly linked to how many players are in the server, maybe 200-300 for every person in there?
My friend Jamboree had this problem last night, I don’t know what the *edited* causes it other than *edited* with symantec/norton, but it isn’t a virus or trojan.
Only way to fix it is to turn off auto protect. If you don’t believe me go to the official steam forums, lotsa folks there having the same problem. Get rid of symantec/norton. They are terribad.
I just read the Why cs is dying thread by GRK, he is dead *edited*ing on and yall are laying into him like he is some kind of smuck. Why do they just blow him off when he seems to be so very right? Are they dumb or do they hate having a popular server?
Source server has an interesting way of doing things, we have a mix of rotation and vote, after a map has been played it wont come back up for vote for the next five or six or seven votes that we have at the beginning. The regulars will be on there for most of the day and because they like the effect of rotating they will progressively choose a different map over the course of the day, no set rotation but it does get the rare maps in at least once a day. Also I don’t think there is anything wrong with clearing the server out every few hours with a lame map, it actually gives people who are waiting in line a chance to get in or to enjoy the low amount of people as some get *edited*ed at getting rocked by 12 man zerg continually without any strats or tactics in play.
Thinking about it though, I’m apprehensive about having closer ties, aye, ideally it would be great if everything worked out but yall just dont seem to have yalls *edited* together. I wouldn’t be against exploring the subject more though.
I dunno, what I seem to gather from the topic i just read over at app yall don’t seem to be able to compromise nor do yall have admins who are decisive enough in fixing stuff.
Really though I think Kuros is dead on about the strength of wcu’s servers. We are really strict with our admins and they keep the servers running smooth and that allows the community to thrive.
No, they didn’t. AK has always been the best weapon in source.
Actually the only difference in recoil or change to the guns would have to be the size of the spray patterns. Guns spray over a larger area in source, while the ak has a bit more accurate starting shot while running or standing still than in 1.6 or the m4 in source.
Perhaps you took my comment the wrong way seph. By being too active I meant you were using your admin powers in an adverse way to slay awpers and slap people, I got some complaints about it and I raised them there. Reason enough for a good admin to quit because another one brought up this point? Hardly. Who hasn’t fudged around as an admin? No reason not to take a warning ffs. Stop acting like the victim here, no one is.
Those are probably your rates already actually. If you dsl is booting you for exceeding the bandwidth limitation then you need to lower em try 66, 66, and 15000

Seriously though I believe if you lower your rates in game to match your connection an close out the porn downloading in the background you might go over your bandwidth allowance. When we get back to school in august we will actually get to use 100000 instead of 25000 for rates since the latest patch to source makes it possible to take advantage of 1mb connections.

Hahah yup it is fixed now. Also to help some who may be getting the pink and black radar, if you alt tab while that is going on, it will fix the problems. Can’t count the times i have had to do that while scrimming.
Actually it sprays faster and better than the AK but doesnt do long range as well for as much damage, plus you get 35 bullets and a rifle for 2000 dollars. It’s in between buy when you want to be frugal in a match but dont want to be ropadoping with the mp5.
Honestly, I have trouble trying to get the mother*edited*ers to call out where they died, how, and with what weapon in scrims.
hahaha that is the lyrics from the tlc song no scrubs, i hate it, but it is hilarious to hear played as a sound file on a server.
Now that I think about it, I think that should be added as the second source sound file next to one and only. Just a file to get played when a team gets waxed completley without gettings any kills.
