I think we already have enough new people and regulars on the server now anyways, lately the server has been full the entire time during peak hours with people waiting on autojoin just to get a chance to play, I think attracting new players isn’t all that necessary… and it’s not like it would scare away anyone that actually ENJOYS playing on the server. Other busy servers employ a system of around 25 kills if i’m not mistaken, newcomers get 2 points for killing someone regardless of weapon or ranks until they get up to 50 points.
Believe me, I have no problem losing points… hell I’ve killed so many hostages Freeman was kicking and threatening to ban me.
I just think it would be alot more fun if new people earned the right to steal our points beforehand…
I agree with nodice, simply giving us this power won’t really solve any problems and may even invoke some admin abuse. The thread we had going a long time ago with the vote clearly showed that the majority of people would like them restricted to 1-2 per team on ALL maps, I think thats still the best course of action but it’s your call.
I don’t know, other things he did could have been explained by sound… but it looked like walling in some instances.
I just played port and there were multiple awps on each team, I thought they were to be restricted and if so, isn’t 1 enough for those kind of maps.
I dealt with blgx last night, although I was basically the only one on at the time that could… I just had to p90 rush certain camp spots and use flashes. Still he’s an awp *edited* to the extreme and will save money during pistol round just so he can buy one in the 2nd round if he’s on the winning team. Personally I don’t like the guy, he was driving us nuts on Italy Blitz last night… But contrary to most peoples opinion, we can not ban him simply for awp whoring. There were some questionable things I saw last night… like killing someone with the awp not only while flashed on dust2 but actually aiming at the right spot… not just random shooting.
We can not just ban someone simply for being obnoxious or a douchebag, however if he continues to abuse the other players, we can give him a timeout from the server. Thanks for the headsup though
We should think about restricted the awp on aztec as well… this may be taking it too far and saying we should restrict it for all maps then, but I think aztec is just ridiculous when Cts have awps… they have 2 places to cover, and that can be done easily.
Having sound is a little more enjoyable now that the mic sounds better,now that my ears dont bleed… unfortunately now i can hear ALL of osama’s useless babble, I can’t wait til I eventually get a mic
Although Kuros swears it would be the end of the server… 
I still really like this map, but with the presence of awps it can be pretty *edited*… I especially like when new people get sucked into the pop machines and start freaking out lol
Hahaha, I got *edited*ed that I kept getting raped by noobs on the server and that I lost my number 1 so I’ve been intentionally killing myself and losing points to get some of them back
Check it out, i’m at like 1500 points again ^^ Part of my scheme involves using only weapons with low point modifiers, awps and such… soooooooooo fun

I think the map rotation is fine the way it is, it offers alot of popular maps, but some random new or custom maps that may intrigue people into playing them.
Like I said, If I had witnessed the whole conversation I would have handled it differently, from what I seen it was just a bunch of immature bickering and name calling so I got *edited*ed and muted everyone.
Unless I witness the offender doing it or get access to the chat logs, theres nothing I can do.
I may be too late on this post as I am very lazy… but I was wondering when the ingame Motd will be changed to reflect this, people have been *edited*ing that since it doesnt currently state anything about teamstacking we shouldnt be able to enforce it -.-
Yeah, I went over this with Kuros yesterday… the map should be removed or we should be given power to change the map without random map vote… because everyone just picks dust2 or some *edited*ness and we end up in a permanent loop of about 4 maps…
I was witness to one such ocassion like a week or so ago, I didn’t catch most of the argument as it happened when they were dead and well… I just dont die that early ^^. I just noticed alot of immature bickering so i muted everyone on the server lol… it was like 15 people too, really tedious work… we need a mute team button or something
