Yes, I’m lame enough to say a goodbye post, but I’ve spent enough of my time on this server to have met a bunch of awesome people and don’t want to leave without saying bye.
Anyways, I took a break from the server and came back hoping things would have changed, but things are just getting worse. I’d say that there are lots of things making me leave, but there are some more than others. I mainly just can’t take the fact that there are never admins when we need them most, and some of the more prominent ones just act like asses to the players anyways. I had admin for a day and somehow got it pulled for doing the same thing that Kuros and Flakes were doing today, and theres was purely out of spite. But it isn’t even a matter of what people get away with. There is a ridiculous amount of hippocrisy and bigotry amongst some of the higher ups that just unnerves me, and as much as I’d like to just tune it out, I can’t. I’ve stood idly by while I get harassed and pushed around more times than I can count, but nothing seems to work… so I think it’d just be best if I found a better server to play on.
But anyways, “GG” to all the regulars:
Brian foremost. You are awesome, and I’ll see you around aCe.
Osama… you still pop in from time to time. I think you are on my friends list now, so I’ll have to look you up when we’re both on.
Seph. We fight alot but you are teh awesomeness.
And to Yofu, Ellaine, gxti, Freeman, and all you other ruffians. I’ll probably still see lots of you around, but keep dominating the WCU server for me.

Awww poor Jack, calling me a hippocrit and a bigot because he got his poor admin taken away.
You had your admin taken away because you instituted a map vote even though Kuros told you to cancel it and asked you not to accept it. You did not consult fellow admins nor did you ask whether you could or not, because you simply assumed that because you were an admin you had complete power and authority to do whatever you want. You chose to continue to argue with Kuros and myself even though both Kuros and gxti told us both to stop, you chose to continue on and make things worse. Don’t blame us for what you could’ve prevented.
What did Kuros and I do yesterday that was out of spite to you? I suppose me sitting back and playing the game was done out of spite, hm? Kuros making the next map scoutzknivez and not changing it in the middle of a map, done out of spite of course? Kuros balancing the teams and sending you to the opposite team after balancing them previously and sending me over earlier, etc was done out of spite yes?
The only thing I see here is that you’re thinking you’re more special than anyone else on the server, thinking you’re the only one being switched to another team, thinking you’re the only one ever mentioned, etc.
Have fun following Brian like his little lapdog in aCe, rofl. I’m sure they’ll need you to boost their forfeit win record, haha.
Either way Jackass, its sad to hear you’re leaving since you are a well liked and respected player on the server. Have fun and good luck finding a better server, I guess I could say welcome to Counter-strike because what happens on our server is more carebear than most servers.

It’s weird that I didn’t really mind Jackass. I suppose now that he has left and nosmoking has been banned, the whole aCe situation will calm down. I hate that you are leaving, I never really had a problem with you as a pub regular.
This isn’t a personal thing by any means, I just got tired of having to stress out playing on the server when I came to play CS:S to de-stress. Nothing against you at all Kuros, and it isn’t anything you’ve specifically done that is sparking this at all.
And my better side would prompt me not to respond to Flakes because I’m pretty sure he has both the attention span and maturity of a spoon, but there are several things you have done that I can and will point out for you since you are obviously having such a hard time figuring them out.
1) Constantly starting arguments with me out of nowhere. You can call it “talking” all you want, but for some reason whenever I’m in the middle of a game you will immediately begin complaining about the team I am on and the weapon I am using. Maybe if you focused more on not dying you wouldn’t spend so much time in spectate mode whining at me through public admin speak.
2) Always switching me from one team to another at least once per map. I load quick and choose auto-select, yet somehow it is my fault other good players happen to join the same team as I, and you feel the need to call me out on it whenever my team starts winning.
3) Switching me to Terrorist just so I can’t kill you with an m4a1.
4) Acting like an *edited* to not only other admins, but the majority of regulars and non-regulars for no reason.

I’d cramp up finishing the list so I’ll stop there. The point isn’t that I want or even need special treatment. I don’t care that you took my admin away, I don’t care that you switch me from team to team (it happens to tons of people), and I don’t care that you love to start arguments and don’t know when to stop them. I play enough so that I only have to put up with you during certain hours of the day. You should seriously stop trying to flatter yourself.
Regardless, I can and have gotten over Flakes’ attitude. It is more the fact that several admins love to fight with each other and the players. I play on lots of other clan servers, and its remarkable how a few normal, level-headed admins can regulate a server and not have to deal with arguing, criticism, and empty complaints. I understand that the admins are doing the best they can. Alot of people are college students and have jobs and such and it is hard to balance stuff out. I’m a theatre major and know how that goes.
When I signed up to get admin, it was for one reason and one reason only, and that was to be able to fix issues when no other admins were present. I spent alot of time on this server when there were no admins on and we would have more than 1 obvious hacker on the server, or people spouting racial slurs at other players. It was ridiculous. And I thought that since I was usually on during these hours, I’d be able to help out by being there when things like that happened. Yet I was pushed out by people who were apparently in a bad mood at the time and attacked me for trying to appeal to the overwhelming majority of the players. I know that there were upper division admins on, and thats why I initiated the vote first. I knew that we were part way through a round and I accepted only on the pretenses that it would make it the next map after the round which didn’t happen. And I knew that Kuros mentioned that he would try to cancel the vote, and after a long time he hadn’t, so I went ahead and accepted. I missed lots of the text that apparently was thrown out afterwards because I had the menu AND console up on my screen. I just wanted what was best for the server, which turned into some heinous crime.
I’m sure I’ll be back someday, cause there are a bunch of really hilarious and fun people on this server.
And just for the record, I have no ill will towards any of the admins or players (minus Flakes) and want to thank you guys for helping me get back into this game. Cya around!

And I started trying out before Brian was initially accepted, and because he asked me to. So, I don’t see whats wrong with that.

The weapon thing I’ve explained countless of times and many, many people agree with me on the subject. I’ve been playing this game for many years and I’ve watched as the Krieg/Bullpup have become two of the most popular guns in the game simply because noobs can pick it up spray with it, snipe with it, and use it like they would use an AK/Colt. Watching as people constantly use the gun irritates me because they don’t learn how to actually aim using a gun that they can lean on and use as a crutch. As far as myself focusing more on not dieing and such, I laugh. I view this as a pub, because it is a pub. I challenged NXG to a scrim (whom are much, much better than a lot of people on this server including some that think they’re good) and completely wiped the floor with them. I went something like 21-5, I just don’t care or see the point of caring about my score on a pub. And as far as spectator goes, I sit in spec because for the most part I’m alt-tabbing between CS and talking to my girlfriend, so instead of sitting in spawn on a team and being a complete waste of space I sit in Spec. If the server gets full, I disconnect. Maybe if you cared less about your score in a pub you’d see what I was saying.

Lol, I switch anybody and everybody. Don’t think you’re so special that I’m always choosing you or some other self-centered thought because I don’t care who I’m switching as long as the teams are balanced, same goes for any other admin I’m sure. Also, noone loads fast on the server. It takes everyone a good 30+ seconds because of how long it takes to Send Client Data, etc. If anyone loads faster than others it is those on campus with good computers since it wouldn’t take as long to relay information. I’ve watched as you’ve entered the server and joined a completely stacked team, so don’t give me the garbage of you autoselecting all the time, as it would send you to the losing team.

Stop acting like you deserve the special treatment then if you say you don’t need it. Don’t *edited* about me switching you to another team if you don’t care. Stop provoking the argument and creating it if you can’t finish what you started or support anything you bring up.

I’m a theatre major and know how that goes.First off, we’re not a clan server and because of that we have to deal with a lot more as well as regulate a lot more than what clans do on their own servers. As far as I know, the only time admins have fought with one another is when you had your incident and fit, which then prompted Postal to go off as well. And the only people admins fight or argue with anyone is when they become a public nuisance and a detriment to the server and that is because we are trying to solve the problem and stop that person from being a problem.

I just wanted what was best for the server, which turned into some heinous crime.Your reasons for wanting to become an admin are good and you have great intention to becoming an admin, yet when you became an admin you thought that you were unrestricted to do whatever you wished. You felt that you should make a decision for the server despite knowing that there were several other admins on the server. You went about your actions in the worst way possible and the way you followed up your actions was even worse, by insulting those that granted you admin access and those that gave you the chance and opportunity. You were given enough time to read that map votes were not acceptable, you were given plenty of time to ask and console other admins, and you were asked and then warned not to accept the mapvote that you initiated.

@Sephiroth: I deserve it? I’m sorry I don’t put up with kids who think they’re something special and deserve to be treated more than anyone else, and tired of those that think they’re the best and should be treated differently. Well, I still find it humorous that you’re all joining with him but I can understand him asking you all and such since you are all friends, etc. As far as you “raping” the server, give me a break. Its a pub dude, show me you dropping a 20 bomb against a CAL-M team and I’ll state that you’re raping. Hell, show me you dropping a 20 bomb against a team in CAL that has a winning (without forfeits like aCe) record and I’ll say you’re raping. Anyone can do well on a pub with any weapon.
@Jackass (again): The comment about joining aCe that I gave to Seph is the same to you.
