ParticipantI think we should remove this map from the rotation. First off, the map just sucks, but i’ll leave it
to personal interpretation. Its de_train if they go a, and turns into cs_assault of they go b… Second, not many people like the map, i mean i know Brian likes it and osama (he’s easily amused so that doesnt count). Third it is also because of this map the server gets depopulated (if that’s even a word) and until some other map, sterotypically dust or office that brings back the people…

ParticipantThe final version is out, I need to at least replace the current one with that (it’s a beta).

ParticipantI agree with Ellaine, that map is just terrible.

ParticipantYeah, I went over this with Kuros yesterday… the map should be removed or we should be given power to change the map without random map vote… because everyone just picks dust2 or some *edited*ness and we end up in a permanent loop of about 4 maps…

ParticipantThis is fixed.

De Facto, people join the servers with their favorite maps, generally dust and etc. Perhaps it gets boring and repetitive but that’s what “they want”.

ParticipantActually map voting is doing the exact opposite of what Kuros and gxti were worried/*edited*ing about. All the time I’ve played on the server with voting enabled I’ve seen D2 get voted in once and the rest of the times while it was in there I watched people vote for Piranesi, Prodigy, Militia, Compound (WTF ARE PEOPLE THINKING, COMPOUND?!?!), etc. Throwing custom maps into the mix/maplist also is helping reduce the amount of times maps like D2, Office, etc get put into the vote, and people are liking it! I mean, people voted for that new Italy over maps like Aztec, D2, Office, etc.
