NO, just about nothing would compare to this. It was ridiculous.
It’s like Ridiculous Tuesdays down at the Deli, where prices are so low, they are RIDICULOUS.
Just to be clear: what would the procedure look like? Would it be:
Someone is *edited*ed off. Types in votekick peanut. And then everyone is notified that this kid wants to kick peanut. So then other people type in votekick peanut, or does it immediately pose the question and looks for the super-majority?
I said no to all 3. I see the merits to this system, but I think it would be abused. However, I would not object to it being implemented, but my vote is against it (whatever that means).
Question: If someone was votemuted, could an admin undo the vote? !unmute…? (or any other vote(?) command?)
Unfortunately I am not on as much as I used to be, and I hope to work out a schedule that I will be on more, so again, if this gets voted in, I think that would be fine.
Finally, could the majority enforce a vote against an admin? Say for one that happens to micspam with music from time to time?
To be honest, I think I would support any WCU secondary CSS server, besides a Zombie or a Surf, so if a CL took over, and he wanted a new server (and could manage it with the powers that be), I would support that CL.
However, So-Cal is a douchebag, so……LUV U!
I wish, and thank you for the vote of confidence. I don’t have time though. I am working at a patent firm, in my last semester of law school, only have Sunday’s off this semester, and will be studying for the bar – starting now, and goes until the actual exam, which is 3 days long, and is at the end of July. So I will be only on the servers and forums from time to time.
I really wish I could dedicate the time to take this over.
Sorry guys. But I will still play and support any “good” CL that takes over.
how bout we just get the serve up and running as written, and see how it goes before we go about changing the whole structure of it? humm…?

We aren’t limited by “slots” as an empty server doesn’t cost anything but hard drive space to host.I will be configuring the Gungame server over the next few days and it should be ready to populate by mid-next week. I thank you for your responses. Unfortunately the FF series is not a current draw for a console, since ff13, which is yet to be released, will be the 1st next-gen final fantasy game. So that was what prompted this discussion. however, I am taking all points to heart and under consideration.
It is apparent that this is not a simple this one or that one, kind of decision. And apparently no one has heard of any updates to either system that would help this decision along.

Yahoo, this was not an attack at you, and once you warned him of the objectives, it wasn’t an issue. What happened was that prior to that, you were using admin say and *edited*ing to him, and basically toying with him. I was actually about to type something to tell you to lay off him, and you typed the Objectives issue to him. At that point I didn’t think it was an issue, it was just that it happened for some time prior to bring up the Objectives rule.
I just thought I would bring the broad issue up, of just messing around, and how it should be dealt with.
It wasn’t you MP, and I think it was skroar2 (or whatever), I wish I could be more accurate. I think it was Saturday night, from Train to Dust2. It started on Train and continued into Dust2. I’m pretty sure it was some time after 8pm.
Don’t hold me to any of it. Oh, and the person being slayed was Muel – he had a longer name, but “muel” was either at the beginning or the end of the name.
I just wanted to post this issue because I thought it was uncalled for, but wasn’t sure on the rules for it.

From what I’m reading, it appears that the most defining factor among those commenting is the game selection.
I gather in terms of performance, graphics, controllers, noise, size – there isn’t much difference?

Okay I flame you! (well I don’t actually, so I fail).
Oh one thing that could be nice and this is more suggestion than anything – admin reviews. not sure, but we aren’t a huge admin list, as far as I can tell, and well if you are on a lot, then you observe a lot. It could be either individual or en masse, with just some observations of what is being done well and what isn’t. This might not actually be possible or worth while, but just a suggestion for current and future CLs.
Just to be clear – it can be a flame thread, but you can be the only target?
Also, I think you have done a great job. Not that I know your in-game names or anything, but physically seeing your presence would be nice from time to time (as MasterP or something recognizable – such as CSS:CL
~).From what I can tell 1.6 has had too may admins, and it appears you have kept that down here at CSS which is a good thing. Also, enforcement of rules has been fair and adequate. You have also been very receptive to suggestions.
Overall, I give you an A-.

Btw that is an interesting glitch in the buy function – I presume it also happens with the auto-snipers, since they are restricted as well.
That jump and melee is like the 10 foot knife in CS:S. He was so far away. And splat – bottle to the head. I couldn’t watch the whole thing yet, but I wanted better quality, and it got a little silly, and is a little long. And as you can tell I just wanted to *edited* about something.
