I was checking pirate bay and they seem to have a decent selection of books, but funny thing I read in the legal agreement. If misused, they will just repossess your ereader. It’s almost like you are leasing the ereader. The parameters of what “misused” is is very vague. And with Kindle and Nook, you can ONLY use the wifi to download and search for other books.
The more I read about them the less I like them. The premise of them is so nice. I would love to condense my entire bookcase down to a small tablet, but the fact that I own my books, can photocopy them and move them around and lend them out still give them superiority over ereaders.
I imagine they are afraid of what the internet has done to the music industry, in the sense that, people can download and share music for free and it cost the industry a ridiculously large amount of money. Corporate America is just evolving (or you could say adjusting) and trying to prevent another catastrophe.

I don’t see how you think it’s the fault of the illegal that they are picked up in groves off the street to get work? YES, if they were legal they would get paid more, but if people don’t REFUSE them, why would they take the hastle to fill out the proper documentation? I also wasn’t trying to point out Bitey would ever pick up an illegal, i just meant, average americans like him or me or you. They might have an issue with the current legislation, but will still go around and pick up illegals because they have a quick job needed done, like a bad *edited*ter, poor roof, etc. And how about some links or actual references next time you make allegations the government lied to us; wouldn’t surprise me seeing EVERY administration since the dawn of man has done so one way or another.

i don’t think its as much cowardism as it is precaution. The people at comedy central are probably more concerned about protecting their employees than offending a certain group. I mean hello its comedy central, every other show and/or stand-up comedian is offensive in some way (carlos mancia, dave chappelle, etc). And of all the crazy groups out their, muslim extremists are the most likely to actually follow through on their threats. Just look at Theo Van Gogh.

its been known that certain predatory mammals play with their food before killing/eating it.
Just look at the killer whales. they drown baby humpback whales by forcing under water. It literally drowns to death, and all they do is eat some of the baby fat off it and leave it.
Or check out the leopard seal in Antarctica. They don’t kill their prey (the penguin), they play with it until it dies or they are tired. They’ve even been known to immobilize one and attack more, basically making a sport out of it.
