ParticipantMeh I have some pretty weird thoughts about marriage. Never thought about it until this year, but marriage just seems like a way for people to “legitimize” their relationship. I mean I know there are tax benefits and hospital visiting rights that go along with it, but other than that, before marriage and after marriage nothing changes in the relationship. You should still love each other and care about each other. Yea you made “vows” but shouldn’t those vows be implied already in the relationship. You truly love someone you will be faithful, loving, and caring. You don’t need a label.
Except I *edited*ing love weddings. The ceremony telling each other that they will love each other forever followed by unholy amounts of drinking and gluttony with this happy undertone. Best event ever.
I get to be a groomsman for my BFF Brian in June. Mucho excited.

Not only are marriages a public announcement of the two person’s choices to join as one but it is also a celebration of that commitment to one another. I don’t think “vows” should be held before marriage because you are dating and yes while you may care for the person a lot the commitment that you take when you marry someone is a whole lot more than just oh hey we are married now. Or at least that is the way I view it, taking on more of a religious stand point than a government point of view.

Participant– Chinese, Russian, Japanese, American, and North Korean police officers gather and decide to assess their investigative capacity.
Under the watchful eye of their supervisors, each team gets a mouse, then lets it loose, and the mouse runs up a big mountain.
The winning team is the one that manages to catch and bring back the mouse in the shortest time.
The Chinese police employ human wave tactics, combing every square inch on the mountain in their thousands.
They capture and return the mouse after only one day’s search.
The Japanese policemen use a smell detector, and after only half a day, they detect the mouse hole, search it, catch the mouse and bring it back.
The Russian cops send a robot equipped with a heat-seeking device up the mountain.
The robot locates all the mammals on the mountain and after only three hours the Russians capture and bring back the mouse.
The only ones left now are the American and North Korean police officers.
The Americans use a satellite signal device to locate the mouse, and then send in a mechanical gadget that looks like a snake gliding up the mountain.
The gadget gets into the mouse hole, catches the mouse and brings it back after only one hour.
The North Koreans are last.
Although the supervisors are watching, none of them makes a move, there is no brainstorming, and no one comes up with a plan of action, nothing at all.
After only about 10 minutes, a few North Korean police officers show up dragging a dog before the supervisors, saying they’ve found the mouse.
All the supervisors are puzzled: “What are you doing? It is not a dog you were supposed to catch! Weren’t you supposed to catch a mouse?”
Instead of answering, the North Korean cops drag the dog through the dirt and repeatedly kick it in the ribs.
The sobbing dog suddenly starts to talk: “Stop, stop, please stop! Yes, I confess, I’m a mouse! I’m a mouse, please concede that I’m a mouse, or else they’re going to kill me!”

Participantwith my wife and I, nothing has really changed in our relationship since we got married, but then again we did live together for 2 years before we got married so we knew what it was going to be like already.
the only difference now is she gets ALL my money, not just the vast majority of it

ParticipantWhen I go home at the end of this summer I will be leaving my tower at my parents home.
I may even leave it there starting at the beginning of the summer when I move.
In the long run it will be a money saver preventing me from dropping money on games I do not play
ie. L4D2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Assassin’s Creed (along with new games like Warband, Diablo 3,CNC4, and HL2: E3 if it ever comes out)
I will still have my lappy which can play CS, Mount and Blade, and L4D (on low) so i can chief baddies some… just not as much as I used to.

Participantgod i love jamarcus
May 4, 2010 at 7:53 pm #100715rainefardreamer
Participantjury duty sucks
i think that jamarcus could be awesome if he gets coached right
i think that many things this season are gonna happen
as mentioned the lions will go 8-8
the panther go 9-7, fox is signed on for four more years
saints win back to back superbowls
the colts do well but in the end will choke
phillip ‘drains lakes’ rivers will do well and fail in the playoffs for about the billionth time
the 49ers will surprise everyone and dominate their soft division
matt lienart will surprise no one
jack delhomme getting mauled by julius peppers will be the most enjoyable thing this year
jamarcus russell will get traded to the patriots and somehow the patriots will get a future first round pick which of course they will inevitably trade down
tom brady will do well, but everyone will give him *edited* for not raining down tds with randy moss, but seriously when your banging a supermodel and get paid bank, it really doesn’t matter what other people think of you
ben rapemoreburger will next year again suffer from the antics of money grubbing *edited*
