I typically demo then ban but I was just on the ropes about that one kid which is why I didn’t banThat was not the intention but it’s not how our system is supposed to work. Unless it’s obvious beyond a reasonable doubt I’m not going to go back and ban them after the fact, again I don’t feel like being tied to a car and drug along like the Griswold’s dog by players who feel I ban unfairly.
Might be a good idea to know what the ping is when you are directly connected to the broadband modem/adapter. It’s highly unlikely that your wireless is the problem.

If you think they hack get a demo that shows something and ban them. If you can’t/won’t get sufficient evidence then I can’t/won’t deny the appeal.

I have talked with Lemm about this. Please try to camp less but so long as there isn’t a lot of time left you aren’t expected to bum rush a fortified projector room. It’s not really fair to punish the CTs for not suicide rushing but then again it’s not fair to make everyone wait a minute or two either.

If it’s high, admins use it as a reason to change to their favorite maps at will. If it’s low, the regulars complain.

The last video is retarded, they’re comparing MSNBC’s live feed of the speech to a Fox News brief summary 3 hours after the speech. Biased much? I’m sure Fox didn’t cut that part out when they were showing the live feed but who knows, it’s all one big conspiracy you know.
Besides, the video was made by MediaMatters. MediaMatters is on the same level as Michael Moore on the propaganda scale.
So you’re bashing Fox because they cut out the part where Al Gore admitting to profitting off his global warming campaign? Who’s side are you on?

Say guys let’s create an environment where we bash people for bringing problems to our attention. We sure could use that CS16 CPU space for Source so keep bashing the regulars.

I hate to tease but I’m not really sure how I’m going to implement it yet so I don’t want to have to backpeddle later.
Friendly reminder to keep the suggestions coming, I’m going to work up a preliminary mapcycle this Sunday.
There will be a little twist with this mapcycle, something we’ve never tried before but I think will help greatly with map diversity.
I’m going to go ahead and call this. It’s not as high a percentage as I was looking for but it’s pretty clear.
Decoy sprays are now banned. As with everything else, please warn them to stop spraying before taking action against them.

Now I can understand some rules being more loose than others but we already have specific limitations in place that make map changing a “loose rule”.
Btw, I’m having adam37 recheck the CS16 votemap. If it doesn’t work now then it will in the next few days.

Just so you know Kuros, from the exec’s viewpoint, it looks like you’re complaining that we shouldn’t have the rules that you break on a semi-regular basis. Should we get rid of these rules because they’re the ones you don’t follow anyway or because they’re genuinely bad for the server? Until recently, they seemed to have kept the server pretty full.
If I’m not mistaken, you wrote most of them so why are execs now the bad guys for enforcing them?
If there’s a problem with votemap, TELL SOMEONE. Using a broken plugin as an excuse for breaking admin rules wouldn’t even have worked when you were in office so why do you think we like it any better?
The next person with a complaint filed against them for breaking the admin rules on this will have their admin status revoked.
